[attr="class","post"]stacks of files have been pushed to the side to make way for a keyboard. marcel's eyes, though clearly tired, are trained forward. a number of lines appear on his computer screen as he presses enter, and after a second or two of scrolling finally comes to settle on a loading bar.

mossdeep's system isn't easy to crack, not that he expected anything less. letting out an exhale, marcel pushes his glasses onto his forehead and rubs his eyes. he watches the screen for a moment longer, before shooting a glance at the corner of the room. there, curled up and sleeping quietly, is the pokemon.

that's what he's calling it now, anyway. simply because creature was starting to feel cruel.

he's been curious ever since they left lilycove. it's been hard to find time since to delve further into the basement's mystery. a week working overtime is the only reason he has this evening free. he only hoped he made some progress, at least.

a sound from the computer pulls his attention back only for the words 'access denied' to flash mockingly on the display. marcel curses under his breath before his fingers are moving furiously over the keyboard again.
