Oh boy! A weird rock?! Melody was excited as the ocean had a vast amount of treasures hidden in it's vastness. Hell, she still had that weird funky jewlery from the first aqua meeting she had attended, who knows where that shit came from? But if their Hoenn was anything like theirs maybe there was a counterpart of it? [break][break]

Oh well, no sense in guessing with no evidence! Melody grabbed onto her primarina and once again begun diving once more to see what else she could find. [break][break]

While the activity lacks the excitement of her usual diving ventures into the ocean depths, it still proves enough of a temptation to draw her in.

Today, however, Skyler allows herself to kick back and bask in the golden sunlight. Her eyes are lazy slithers of silver as she watches others dive in with their pokemon, disappearing under the ocean's undulating surface.

Only when most of them have either gone or resurfaced with their treasures does the captain rise from her seated position and stretch. A Lapras snout pops out of the water, and Skyler gives it a gentle tap before skillfully plunging into the refreshing ocean waters.

there should be more things for him to find down there-- ones that are actually worth looking at and telling to himself was actual treasure.

maybe that was the clamperl he got though. they do say that the real one piece is the friends they made along the way.

on the off-chance that it wasn't the case though, kyle goes diving in again. friends and such were nice, but getting what he expected in the form of actual expensive treasure was probably better.

The mild ocean water had become a calming presence. As she had begun to dive frequently recently, she had come to appreciate the water, it had grown on her and she had come to understand why water type specialists were so abundant. Perhaps she would turn into one too?

Even if there wasn’t any sort of prize or whatever, Miki just liked swimming. And he was anyone else mama might have raised would have ended up hating the ocean because of her (mama didn’t believe in child labor laws), but not Miki. Even with all the shit she put him through, he loved to bob in the waves like some fishing lure. Besides, he liked looking at the clamperls, too. They were cute, even if picking up three at a time was the equivalent of his deadlifting workout. It was hard not wanting to cuddle with ‘em and their sleepy little faces.

“C’mon, baby.”

Miki patted Marshmallow’s side bracingly, and his sharpedo nuzzled closer. It felt as sandpapery as always, but, like, he was cool with it.

The saltwater stung at Miki’s eyes when they dove, breaching water and reaching low. It was a quick process – in and out, like that one burger place he used to see in Unova.

“Hey, check it out,” Miki held his price aloft, grinning lazily as Marshmallow swam a tiny lap around him.

Keenan continued to search. There has to be more over here! Looking over rocks, he had some nasty surprises by mean Krabby and Staryu. Staryu would be a good pokemon to have, but he was pretty full on water types now. Spheal leading the way, he went into some kelp. After playing a little bit with some Horsea, they decided to have him follow them somewhere. Swimming to follow them, both him and Spheal were curious where they would lead him. As it turns out, they led him to an item on the sea floor next to some kelp. Who knew just being nice and playing with some wild, friendly Pokemon could get you a reward?

The Clamperl wasn't letting go as Josh would tickle another to have it release a Blue Shard. But Lightning would finally dislodge it, and Josh would turn around and promptly bonk the thing with a Poke Ball.

"Finally" he thought to himself as Josh would promptly swim up in order to get some air. Letting Clamperl out of its ball, he would give it a discerning look.

"You can swim with us if you behave" he told the Clamperl, before the pair would dive down once more.
