This feels a little redundant now, especially because so much of the area has already been scoured for treasure, and only the dregs of what might've hidden under the sand remains.

Unless the local divers have been planting treasure for the participants to find. Which, in all honesty, wouldn't surprise her.

The diving contest, if anything, has done wonders for her morning workout routine. Goosebumps erupt over her skin in the aftermath of a cool oceanic breeze as she stretches, eyes fixed on the vast expanse of mirror-like water. It calls to her even now, an itch that travels down her sinapses, firing off a thirst to reach beyond the horizon.

"You done, honey?"

Dorado looks up at her and flexes his slightly less than impressive biceps. At Skyler's prompting, he finds a perch on her shoulder as they leave shore to dive in search for treasure.

From the skies a crystal drops and Angelo has to quickly grab the dropped gift from one of his gulls, before it can sink to the bottom.

“Maybe you will. How about this weekend? Come over to the Sotally Tober and I'll cook you something.” It doesn't sound so much of a question poised to Locke Jamison, as it does a warm kind of demand.

Angelo knew all too well the struggles that a life of a courier, let alone being on the road, could bring.

There's a familial kind of tug guiding him to fill up Locke's plate with a big hearty meal, to make sure they'd eaten at least one good dinner that week before sending them on their way. He'd felt similar with Raziel Beckett.

Never mind if his face was turning all shades of red.

Never mind that they were out here, by this deserted little dock, alone with nobody else to see or overhear them—

It was… time.

“Frog… I have something to tell you. You… you remember I asked you to give me… time?”

He waited for the other to acknowledge that statement, before he continued. His bravado was ebbing out fast, and he’d better get this out before he froze up and retreated back into the shell of his cowardice (and rash decisions).

“Remember that question you asked me, and I asked you to give me some time to think about it?”

He let the silence settle between them for a few more moments.

“I’d want to spend the rest of whatever days are left, with you. It’s a yes.”

“I’m giving you the very last piece that I told you about. The final piece… of my heart.”
