Nevertheless, though, he'd gotten a shiny little crown from it— and the achievement in itself may or may not have been a driving factor in instilling a further sense of excitement and amusement, alike, when returning to the line. Barnaby really needed to practice his throw. He wasn't very good at pitching, apparently, as most of his attempts at the dunk tank ended in failure.

Still, when a raven-haired young woman ascended to the hot seat, he figured he'd try his luck again.

He didn't apologize as she had, but did smile apologetically as the ball left his palm.

When Zev approaches the dunk tank this time, he's surprised to find BARNABY FINCH in the seat. Sure, the man is wearing a wig, but Zev's trained to recognize and read the subtler characteristics of a person. That aside, he hasn't seen the man at the dunk tank before, not in all the times he's passed by it or gotten in line himself. But that doesn't matter, does it?[break][break]
