Just outside of New Mauville Razz had traveled. Rosè having mentioned something about checking in on the pokemon in the aera to see if some of them were in a panic. And if so capture them so they could be calmed and then returned to the wild. Something standard for the ranger, often he would find that bringing them it wasn't something that was needed. [break][break]

For now he was near the water to see if his Feebas couldn't get in a bit of training. See exactly how this glow similar to that of the Crystal Blooms could possibly be of use.

Not all that far from where Raziel Beckett’s pokemon is, an Eelektross swims upstream. It’s the same one Mars had caught when a swarm of them had appeared a few months back, the emerald colouration of its skin making it difficult to see from the surface.

Mars himself walks near the water, surrounded by the lush trees and verdant grass of Route 110. When he spots the ranger, he pauses, recognizing him right away.

”Kingsman.” P.O.G Bank’s CEO has nothing against Razz, of course. He has no reason not to smile and be amiable. So, it’s exactly what he does, and the Persian by his side even gives a prusten in greeting.

Salem gives him a tap long before the other has the chance to call his name, and thus catching him off guard. The Ranger looking over and giving the man a quick wave. He recalls seeing this man once before. His first memory being from dealing with the Delibird. Though then there is some dread as he recalls this man was also one of the people that saw what he was, well damn. [Break][break]

"Del Mar right?" he questions to be sure as he chooses not to acknowledge that last tid bit. Meanwhile an ellectross seems to try and come in and take the shiny Feebas. Razz gives a whistle and Salem comes to the rescue with a SPRINGTIDE STORM making it run off.

Raziel Beckett is a ranger who works for Silph co…. He also deserted from Team Rocket and is the avatar of Reshiram. These are all things Mars is all too aware of when greeting the younger man.

”That’d be me.” He still smiles, casual and polite, even when the winds summoned by the familiar sight of SPRINGTIDE STORM tousle his brunette hair.

The attack seems to also anger a Escavalier that had been hanging out in the bushes nearby, and when Mars notices that the armoured insect is about to attack, he’s quick to whistle a short note for his Eelektross to act.

FLAMETHROWER is shot out of the water – precise. It burns the bug.

”What brings you to these parts? Ranger work?” Mars asks, chucking a Luxury Ball towards the fainted pokémon.

Razz gives a simple nod in response to the banker as he watches Bronzong levitate by, not seeming to mind the two trainers there. Which was good as it seemed like at least not all pokemon were going wild. "Yes with the meteor coming the higher ups are worried about the panic of some wild pokemon, so we follow protocol," he informs not going too deep into details about it. [break][break]

But just like a few months ago when the pokemon were going wild due to the Infinity Energy that was more scattered om the wild sometime ago. "What about yourself? Don't you have a company to run?" its not meant as a jab of 'shouldn't you be doing your job' it was an actual curious question but as usual Razz doesn't have any proper tact with human interaction.

Inevitably, it makes him think of the Lake Guardians and the warnings Azelf had given him over a year ago. Of course, the Guardians are nothing like most pokémon, but the logic still applies, does it not?

As if proof of Razz’s word, a Probopass appears, clearly acting much more hostile than the Bronzong that had just passed by. The Eelektross would have a hard time against it, especially when it’s Gastro Acid would have no effect, so Mars decides to have Dollar act instead. He clicks his tongue, and within seconds, a WATER PULSE hits the Compass Pokémon.

”Running a company can involve much more than being in an office all day.” He explains while a Luxury Ball is thrown, not seeming at all offended. ”Right now, though? Mostly just making sure a couple of my pokémon get some training in.”

The fact that Mars is a more than competent trainer is no secret, so he doesn't bother with hiding it.

"Pokemon are much more sensitive to the changes in the world around us, I'm sure the pokemon knew something was wrong long before us," he comments as if he is trying to educate. As he has been around enough civilians who don't realize as much so he knows its not as common knowledge as he thought it to be. He's going to ignore old complains he apparently got when clients told his supervisors that he was calling them stupid by spewing such basic knowledge in front of them. [break][break]

He does give the sky a look as if pondering if they could feel the Meteor coming, part of him curious if it were similar to the Infinity Energy that was around their region, or if it was that which was drawing it toward them. [break][break]

Though as Mars answers him he does give the other some of his attention while Salem tries to coach the Feebas on fighting the Bronzor. "Really? Such as what if you don't mind me asking?" he decides to question, see just what the other did for his company. As all he really knows about it is that its a bank, so it probably rips people off, and that a cat is the mascot.

Mars does indeed know of the keen senses of pokémon, but he’s not particularly bothered by Razz’s explanation. It’s probably what’s expected of a ranger, isn’t it? To go around educating people so that they help the environment? Mars wouldn’t be surprised if lines like those are written in their little ranger manuals to be practised in front of a mirror.

The sudden appearance of a Klank interrupts their conversation, but Mars does no more than whistle for his Eelektross to attack from the water. Another FLAMETHROWER is all it takes.

”Visiting our branches to ensure they’re running with no issue, meetings, customer relations, media relations, interviews, and of course, everything that concerns logistics. Among other things.” The answer is given as if it were the simplest thing in the world, because to Mars it is. ”My work often takes me overseas, actually, but you know… can’t really do that these days.”

"Sounds like a lot of annoying work, couldn't ever imagine running some sort of business," Razz comments as he thinks about the very idea of even having to be in charge of people. Something he didn't like even when he was working with other rangers. "Well there is a barrier," Razz just points out the obvious, as it seems the joke went over the Ranger's head as he misses the other's smirk while he hears rustling in the bushes. Salem just seems to face palm at his trainer's dismissal, at least the cat heard the voice. [break][break]

Curiosity taking him as the Ranger investigates to see an injured Charjabug. Razz hovers a hand over them to examine the wounds, experience would say that it had fought off some predators but at a hard cost. [break][break]

"Don't worry I'll get you fixed up," the ranger tells it as he uses a pokeball to capture the already injured bug. Usually he allows nature to take it's course but seeing how the bug fought hard enough to win already he would make sure they lived to see another day.
