Gunner arrived at Summer Atreides's penthouse apartment with haste, his Alakazam teleporting him to her now familiar residence at Mauville Hills. Her phone call had seemed a desperate cry for help; with a shaking voice, she'd asked him to come over immediately, but hadn't divulged any details. He had no other option but to rush to her side and ensure she was safe.[break][break]

But she was fine. Totally unharmed, at least physically. Gunner sat on the edge of her bed with her, staring dumbly at the phone she'd shoved into his face. On the screen was the main menu of a new mobile game, RONDEZ-VIEW IN LUV.[break][break]

"So you were playing this game?" he asked, confused. "Why did you need me to come over, then?" A thought occurred to him a few beats later. "Do you want me to play it with you?"

The entire wait was like pure fire in Summer's veins. And it took all the strength in her not to just pounce on him the second he walked in — because she almost did. But as he looked dumbly at the screen, she clicked her tongue in annoyance before pulling up the route.[break][break]

"No. Look. Watch this," she demanded, tapping her foot against the edge of the bed as she waited for his reaction.[break][break]

Once his steamy route finished, Summer promptly snatched the phone away and tore the covers off of her body, pushing her legs underneath her to grab him by the shoulders.[break][break]

"You see the issue now? You have to help me out now, Gunner. It's your fault." No way was she going to take blame in playing a stupid video game.

Whatever Gunner had expected paled in comparison to what actually transpired on her phone as she tapped the screen with impatient purpose. "What the fuck?" he said as the story began, only to lose his words entirely as it progressed into explicitly sexual material.[break][break]

When it was over, he looked at Summer in a new light. The revelation that she enjoyed this kind of game, however, was overshadowed by the disturbing knowledge that someone was using Hoennians' likeness for personal profit — and without their consent.[break][break]

Gunner almost stood up to report it to HBIC when Summer grabbed him by the shoulders and demanded his help. Staring into her desperate face, he understood at once what she'd meant by her initial phone call. He almost laughed at the ridiculousness of it all.[break][break]

"The game really worked you up, huh?" he said, unable to help an amused smile. But he had to admit, the graphics and video had been very convincing. Their effect on his own body had not gone unnoticed.[break][break]

Shifting on the bed, Gunner pulled Summer onto his lap so her back was flush against his chest, just like in the game. Planting soft kisses on her neck, he ran a hand up her inner thigh.[break][break]

"You want it just like the video? I can't promise a jacuzzi, though," he teased.

Summer could see the wheels churning in Gunner's mind as he watched the progression of events in the scene, and it seemed like work was on the brain instead of the real problem here. She huffed, giving a crossed look at him as he looked too serious for such a risque video. "Don't you dare think about going off and being all 'I must bring justice.' We have a serious problem."[break][break]

And that was her.[break][break]

But Summer seemed to finally relax a little bit as he grabbed her and pulled her into his lap. She gave a more satisfactory hum, releasing her crossed hands from her chest to wrap around his neck. And that familiar feeling down below was clear as day: so the video got to him too, huh?[break][break]

Tilting her chin to the side to let him kiss her neck, she shivered as he touched her thigh. "I have a jacuzzi. It's out on the balcony. But I don't really care if it's like it or not..."[break][break]

Really, more important things needed handling rather than importance to detail.

A jacuzzi out on the balcony. Gunner's kisses and caresses slowed almost to a stop as he considered the option. The same part of him that had sought a quick tryst with Summer during the Winter Masquerade came to life, fanning the flames of his desire into a roaring inferno. He couldn't help it; there was a certain thrill to knowing someone could hear or see them doing the deed, but trying not to attract attention anyway.[break][break]

"Oh, well, in that case." Hooking his arms around Summer, he lifted her easily as he stood. "Point me in the right direction."[break][break]

At her instruction, Gunner made his way to her balcony, carrying her bridal-style throughout the apartment until they were at its door. Then he lowered her so he could open the way for them. A blast of cold air hit him, but he was undeterred.[break][break]

After removing the cover from the jacuzzi, Gunner went to find the button that turned on the tub. Thankfully, the mechanisms were simple, and before long, the water was hot and bubbling with jets.[break][break]

"Ready?" he asked Summer, grinning, and pulled off his shirt.

Summer was getting into his rhythm of kisses and touches, beginning to shift herself to encourage him to move further. However, when he slowed, she groaned, an very loud and audible complaint at his lack of attention. She nearly bucked against him, hard, to bring his attention back to her. However...[break][break]

"Huh? What are you-"[break][break]

Without another word, she felt herself lifted, held in Gunner's arms easily as he headed for her balcony. The cold air hit her and made her shiver, since she was in nothing except a tank and shorts. Summer's arms reached up to cover her chest and hugged herself, to keep some warmth in as she was set down.[break][break]

Soon enough, though, the jacuzzi sprang to life. And Gunner began to shed his clothing, making her lick her lips. The thought of someone being awake, or being around, to possibly spot them...[break][break]

She pulled off her tank, then her shorts, bending over to keep them inside. Then she tiptoed into the jacuzzi, sinking into it's warmth.[break][break]

"Ahh..."

Gunner watched, riveted, as Summer removed the little clothing she was already wearing. His eyes never left her until she sank into the steaming water of the jacuzzi, prompting him to shed his own clothing as quickly as physically possible. He joined her then, enjoying the way the heat flooded his body.[break][break]

He could get used to having access to a jacuzzi in the winter.[break][break]

But that was not his concern at the moment. Instead, he turned his attention back to the woman who'd ensnared him. Pressing his mouth against hers in a searing kiss, Gunner wrapped one arm around her to hold her close while his other hand snaked between her legs.[break][break]

What he found there caused him to chuckle. "Oh, darling. Look at you," was all he said.

Summer only looked up when she heard him joining her, face red already from the heat of the water. She watched him sit until she placed herself back in his lap, almost like before. Except she allowed him to hold her with one arm, propped against him, while the other snuck away.[break][break]

Her mouth greedily accepted his kisses, even initiating deeper before cutting off with strangled noises. One of her legs propped up on the side of the jacuzzi for him.[break][break]

"Gunner..." Summer breathed, shivering from sensation and the cold. "Don't tease me."

"I know, I know. You're in so much distress already," he said, teasing her anyway. But he complied, using both his hands to bring her down onto his ready lap. He kissed her deeply, relishing in their union.[break][break]

"You're beautiful, you know that, Summer?" he murmured, so caught up in the moment that his voice was thick with genuine emotion. Tenderly, he brushed a lock of hair out of her face before kissing her again.[break][break]

And then his hand traveled to rest against her neck, his fingers wrapping around her throat in the way he knew she liked.[break][break]

"I want to hear you sing for me," Gunner rumbled, the intensity in his gaze shifting perceptibly from obvious longing to a deep and insatiable hunger.

But when she finally came out of that daze, she managed to look up and meet his gaze, relieved of her stress from the previous hour and felt like spineless mush against him. In fact, she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, leaning over him as she rested her head against Gunner's chest.[break][break]

"Stay the night. Okay?" It wasn't a request. It was a demand.
