the damn disrespect of this dugtrio is baffling. baffling! their trainer might not be there to witness it but venusaur and gloom unfortunately are. it's surprising how gloom's stench isn't enough to deter the dugtrio away. no matter, they will make quick work of it.

nothing disturbs devon's peaceful gardens. nothing!

the moment dugtrio's dumb heads poke out of the ground is the moment it is met by the odd sight of two grass-types petal dancing. mesmerized, dugtrio doesn't even realize it's fainting until it's too late.

gloom bounces over and picks it up, dragging it out of the ground, and holds it above her head as she trots off into the nearby woods to dispose of it.

as both venusaur and gloom are overcome with the unnerving feeling of this is not over, they decide to take further precautions in order to protect the sanctity of devon's prestigious garden.

sleep powder is scattered in a wide area of effect, encompassing the garden, looking to keep it safe from curious pests. along with the white spores are also some yellow from stun spore.

the trap has long been set. no kricketune will be able to overcome the defensive barrier set up by both venusaur and gloom.

the moment the bug-type steps into the circle of SLEEP POWDER and STUN SPORE, its body immediately tenses up as the spores seep into its orifices. its waste of a life will soon come to an end as it slumps to the ground.

gloom evolves into vileplume and with her newfound abilities, a MOONLIGHT shines down and takes kricketune away. that, and another PETAL BLIZZARD from venusaur. the kricketune is sent flying and the defensive barrier is reset.
