The garden is the most important place in her home. Screw the library screw the den screw her own bedroom he garden is her saving grace. The flowers are her home and the trees her shade in the evening and morning sun. It is here her greatest memories have always existed- in the garden.

And that is why it is with the greatest furry she descends upon the linoone with her dragon and ghost following quick behind her. The dragon swoops in the keep her from chasing the beast off herself (she's supposed to be relaxing not running off vermin) the ghost follows after with a flurry of will-o-wisp and rising shadows. the pokemon spits out the berries packed into its cheeks, scared of the ghost descending upon it. The pokemon runs, feet scattering beneath it as it tries to find traction and the ghost is upon it, the sucker punch forcing it away and it scatters further and further away. He's hot on its tail, making himself a great big horror scene to scare the pokemon away.

Isra is content to see it go, mellowing out enough to inspect what has happened to her garden's berry plot.

The sun is just about to rise and Isra is passing the last of her waking moments watching the garden. There's always something surreal about the lighting when the sun begins to rise and the way it sets a tone enchants her. One of many things that makes her brave the warmth of the sun every so often.

Just before she can move to rise from the gazebo and return to the house something in the wind catches her attention and she watches as a wild meganium waddles into her garden. Isra is used to the coming and going of grass types, a common occurrence for gardens of her size she imagines. She keeps her eye on it for the moment because even they are not immune to the delight that is growing berries and flowers and she's not keen on letting her's go. Her own meganium is what sets her at ease though, taking an interest in the other pokemon rather than being on edge.

She watches the wild creature's interest in her plants and decides that whatever it is doing does not seem harmful, and it is only fair she give it something in return. Isra return to the house and re-emerges moments later with a small plate of food and treats, plucking a flower or two from her own growing plants as an added treat before setting it at the edge of the berry plot for the pokemon.

The plot is small, abandoned by its previous tender. He comes back out of a vague sort of sentiment. As if he can feel the love for the place lingering here. Some sort of nonsense in the back of his mind, sure, or maybe not. He's never been sure when it comes to these things.

It's quiet, it's out of the way, a sort of solace for him to have, something for him to do when the rest of the world is too noisy and he just needs some quiet.

Perhaps that's why it's distracting to hear the whacking against one of the berry bushes growing in the clearing. Evan stands back, watching the pokemon a moment, but he doesn't see reason to fend it off. Instead he calls upon the help of his musharna, who gets his idea with ease. The two set about stabilizing a chunk of wood in the ground not too far off from the berry plot, Evan giving it a good solid kick of his own to be sure it won't just fly out of the ground without good force. Satisfied, he motions for the musharna to pick up the pokemon with his psychic and replace it near the grounded post.

At first the pokemon runs back to the berry tree, because that seems like a much better place to practice and Evan motions for the musharna to try again, lifting and moving the fighting type back towards the post he's welcome to practice on instead. Even as the pokemon tries to kick the musharna instead eh simply returns it to the post, again and again.

Both trainer and pokemon are willing to continue doing so until the pokemon accepts that he will not be allowed to train on the berry plants, but he can use that all he likes.

the Vaporeon is not amused.

He has been tasked with watering the small garden, a small bout of entertainment before he returns indoors. He's quite certain it is placed upon his shoulders by merit of being the only water type in the building and it is, undeniably, below him.

The sputtering sparks of an intruder do not lessen his distaste. This is exactly why he was meant to be at his human's side receiving attention like the regal beast he was. Eyes narrow as he looks at her, daring her to make a flame big enough he had an excuse to make a move against her. She manages a burst of flame. The hydro pump is likely overkill but it squashes the flame in an instant. He steps towards her, backing her away from the garden with her fire and she attempts stand firm despite her clear disadvantage.

How. Dare she.

His mouth opens again, threatening a deluge as acid drips from his skin, she'll back away one way or another. The task may be bellow him but it is his nonetheless and he will not fail in it.She growls in return as if it might deter what thinks himself master of the house (second only to that mimikyu, the beast that she is) and it fails horribly, the stream of water her actions are rewarded with is relentless.

She is only saved from the onslaught by the pokeball that finds its way to her through the air, slipping between the pouring waters to whisk her away to some sort of safety.

"Poise." the tone is scolding and the pokemon's eyes narrow up at his human for a moment before accepting that perhaps, he went a little far. With a huff the pokemon concedes and sits at the side of the garden, only rising from his pout when Evan finally pets his back. The pokemon purrs at the attention he is so very deserving of. "Just try to be a little nicer next time."

The vaporeon turns up his nose, he makes no promises.
