Yumi tried not to think too hard about the whimsical nature of so-called fate as she dove once more into the water. She let her Sharpedo do most of the work, swimming down into the depths. Once at the bottom, she grabbed the nearest object and swam back to the surface.[break][break]

[attr="class","aurelie_body"]For this last dive, Aurelie decided to adopt a tactic that she'd seen other trainers around her employing: having one of her Pokemon dive alongside her to help make it easier to find Clamperls. Releasing her Milotic, she flashed a smile at the beautiful aquatic Pokemon and then slid into the water. A second later, the graceful serpentine Pokemon swam beneath the depths beside her, waving gently amid the slow-moving currents.

Together, surely, they'd be able to find something wonderful in these waters. Or at least, something useful, hopefully. That was always the lure of Clamperl diving. Rather unlike a box of chocolates, you really never knew what you were going to get.

Razz just looks over the pokeball giving a small chuckle at how happy the froakie seemed in finding it, "Not bad kiddo," he encourages as he pats the head of the small frog which suddenly gets interrupted with Indigo popping up and tossing up something so high Razz couldn't point out just what it was as the sun blinded him and then just watch as the dolphin made a large splash. Clearly wanting to make a scene about their own find. Maybe he should not make this seem like a competition for the two.

Azura dives in with the royal ambassador as they set off to get into the caves for a Clamperl. Their finding yesterday was the icing on the fcake with a Mega Stone being the grand prize of the dive. Now, Azura points out that there was a cave with a lot of Clamperl inside, so the Primarina goes ahead of her trainer to help select one out of the group. After they select one together, the pair would dive up to be greeted by the hot summer air with the royal holding a Clamperl with her. Maybe this time, they could get something nicer today.[break][break]

A busy day with Josh's own attraction meant he would again be diving after dark. Walking to the end of the dock and sliding onto Illumina's back, the Lanturn submerged, gently swimming to the sea bed. It was not a quick trip, and depth perception was nearly impossible in the lightless waters. Lightless other than that provided by his Pokémon, that was. Turning up the brightness of her bulb as she reached the floor where the treasure field was, the electric fish carried Josh to the field's perimeter, giving him a good look at a large, glinting object he could not identify in the low-light conditions. He took it with him and slowly surfaced, ready to take it underneath a street light to see what it was.

Shalin, likewise, had been a procrastinator, forced to take her trip down to the sea bed in the dead of night. She had it worse, forced to rely on her Seismitoad's vibrating bumps as a crude means of echolocation. She was already a little sore from having to absorb so much vibration as part of her Sygna Suit show. While the suit made the feat survivable, it didn't make the ride any less intense! It was always the BUG BUZZ at the finale that got her, making her remember how much pain it put her aging body through when she fought in Galar. It was a future she wanted nothing to do with, learning from it by respecting her suit's own limits. Unable to see a thing, she had to trust the large amphibian to guide her around the dark waters, where to reach for a treasure, and when to start surfacing. She had no idea what she had found, surrounded in complete darkness and only able to feel what was in her hand as she felt her mount rise toward the surface.

The key to diving was to not float. This seemed simple and somewhat ironic given the very real threat of drowning but it was shocking how many people struggled to actually get under the water.[break][break]

Well. That'll teach Caelan not to get too big for his britches. Still, it feels good to dive again even if his lung capacity certainly shrunk in the time he spent away from the sea. “Arceus.” He curses. “Oh, Arceus. Joy’s sent half of Hoenn into a frenzy with this pearl diving crap.” The curse turns to a dry laugh. Sopping wet, his body adjusts to the feeling of being above water again. Water funnels out of his ears. His body is sluggish, but a glint of treasure drives him to get moving.[break][break]

You'd think diving for treasure would get a bit boring for the pinkette, but no, it didn't. After a beautiful sunrise like the day prior, Desiree found herself free floating on the surface, embracing the ever-so-gentle waves that would crash against her body. It was quite relaxing, especially after how hard she had worked on her freshly released album, and Misty the Clamperl was having a blast. Rocking in the waves while resting on the trainer's stomach, she'd look out intently at the horizon.[break][break]

Before long Desiree would cease the free float, diving down into the water with her Clamperl resting in her grasp. Just what treasure was in store for the duo today? Anything was a blessing, just as it was an addition to her sparkly pink treasure chest awaiting her back at home.[break][break]

Another day, another dive. This time, however, Remiel was taking off from the wooden balcony of a hotel in PACIFIDLOG. He'd been told there were a lot of shipwrecks in these waters.

Would he find something valuable? Would he find something of, perhaps, archaeological importance? Both seemed equally as appealing to him, quite frankly. So, without further delay, he hops out into the sea and dives down towards the ocean floor below.
