A new week meant a new location for the underwater treasure field. This week, it was in the waters surrounding the east side of Dewford. The farther away from the west side, what with teams headed into the rift on almost a daily basis to Ultra Sea to extract Dynite Ore, the better. Though she was tempted to use her fastest water Pokémon to get ahead of other divers, Shalin elected to take her Milotic, Levy, to the bottom of the shelf surrounding the island. Though it would be slower, she could get into tighter spaces that she hoped would give her better picks of what to bring to the surface. It seemed that unlike Slateport, this was more of a wide-open mad dash than anything. Disappointed, he pried the Clamperl open with his tail before swimming to one side, letting Shalin reach over to pilfer its contents.

Diving in a bit of unique terrain, being an underwater coral-ridden ravine between two miniature islands of palm trees, Desiree felt odd being so out to sea- even if what surrounded the ravine was nothing but shallows leading up to the tiny sandy islands. Every once and a while a fallen coconut would float by above, clear as ever. Phione and the pinkette had an understanding they didn't wish to stray too far into the depths of the unknown, being right below them; here was no telling as to what might swim up from flooded caverns.[break][break]

Swimming together, the two would be in search of any glimmer that would catch their eyes. She kept finding crystalline formations of different compositions and colors on her recent dives, they were the perfect decorations for her exquisite treehouse. It was becoming more and more full of trinkets and gifts of the wilds, and if they were lucky, another would be waiting for them.[break][break]

Using their blue appendages to slip in between the cracks of the stiffer pieces of coral, Phione would attempt to wiggle out something that provided the hopeful glimmer. A treasure! Though, only flashes of a specific color would stand out- they would need to do a little excavating underwater.[break][break]

A nice, juicy salac berry. He'd gotten these before in last year's diving game, and they'd worked just fine for the stews he made, even with all the time they spent under the water.

He had to wonder: would Melody Miro want to try some salac stew at some point? She seemed to eat almost anything he made.

A question for later, as he awaited the next prize.

Summer was coming to an end, however he knew he wanted to go surfing, at least once.

The main problem here being, his aquatic ‘ride’ hadn’t exactly evolved yet—she was still too cute and having the time of her life as a Mantyke!

“Aww, what’s that you have?” he hummed, amused as said Mantyke flopped over his way through the surf, holding something in her mouth and dropping it into his outstretched hand.
