There were Avatars who might hear such a declaration, and balk at the implications. Humanity's addiction to power was a tightly woven tapestry, threaded through with unending cycles of conflict. Most would be loath to accept the possibility of having their gifts stripped from them - even if temporarily. There's a reason Nomi does not yet own a Sygna Suit, though she could easily augment one.[break][break]
But Nomi was also, first and foremost, a scientist: who's nature was far more curious than it ever was prideful.[break][break]
"Are you?" She asked, intrigued. "Infinity Energy is the source of the sygna tech's power. Are you...infusing it into some kind of ingestible, then?"[break][break]
The question of why could wait. First, she had to know how.

"Injectable, but ingesting it still has mild effects." Tempest gives a small, nervous laugh. He's only actually talked shop with a handful of people about it so far. His prototypes also weren't working as intended just yet. "All I've done so far is make souped-up Epinephrine, though. More likely to explode your heart than stop your powers."[break][break]

In the most literal, and grim, way that would stop the powers too. Not really what Tempest was going for.[break][break]

She wouldn't test them on herself, of course. That could result in suicide, if his hypothesis was to be believed. First she'd put the serum beneath a microscope, get to know its chemical makeup.[break][break]
"If you are working with Infinity Energy, potency could be your issue," she suggested. "It's entirely possible that the serum loses Infinity Energy too quickly, before it can be properly ingested. You need a lot of Infinity Energy to disrupt the Avatar bond."[break][break]
Which explained his desire to procure Crystabloom seeds.[break][break]
"You may already know this - but Infinity Energy needs an organic host, in order to be useful," she continued to explain. "If you try and contain it without quickly allowing a living being to absorb it, it will disappear on its own somewhat rapidly. And even if you could stabilize it enough to bottle it long-term, it would still be of little use to you in that state."[break][break]
Sygna Suits, Avatars, the abilities of Pokemon - they were powerful precisely because they involved the channeling and processing of Infinity Energy from within an organic host. Temp likely needed an organic material of some kind, to ensure his serum would not break down prior to being ingested. Once inside of a person, it should - in theory - be able to neutralize Avatar powers. If the Infinity Energy was strong enough.[break][break]

"I'll send you some as soon as I can." Tempest promises. When Naomi Sato speaks, he listens closely as well. She was much more knowledgeable on this subject than he was. Any advice that he was given he would be more than happy to take.[break][break]

"I have a few theories on what might help, but nothing I'm confident enough in to verbalize." There were a few things he could use as a potential catalysts. Temp would need to think deeply on this particular problem. Would there be a way to 'freeze' the infinity energy for a time? Actually, that made him think of what Kyurem did to the frozen Pokemon in the Icelands... hm....[break][break]

"Thank you, Nomi! Anything I figure out about them I'll let you know, too." It seemed only fair that Tempest would keep her in the loop since she was being so gracious to allow him to fondle the rare seeds for his own benefit.[break][break]

A sudden beep started from Tempest's back pocket, which made him frown slightly as he pulled his phone out. A few quick flicks and he gave a small sigh.[break][break]

"I gotta go do some Beast junk. Thanks for talking to me, Nomi."
