HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

a dear old friend. serves primarily as vilhelm's scout - back in kanto, he was small enough to fit into most places and inconspicuous enough that most people wouldn't think much about his presence while he investigated an area on his master's behalf. hoenn offers a new challenge to the latter, but his trainer hasn't had the heart to set him aside. he likes stealing food from other people's bags if left to himself - a habit vilhelm had trouble with even during his police days.

vilhelm's first pokemon and the most trusted of his partners. in the past, they hunted criminals together - nowadays, he provides transportation and, short of the old man throwing the punches himself, serves as his trainer's only real line of defense. he likes clinging to vilhelm's coat and hanging onto him like a backpack ~~(more like a batpack)~~, though he doesn't seem to realize how... heavy he is. vilhelm lets him do it, and then only complains about how his back has been getting worse lately once all 165 lbs of blue are back in the Pokeball.

a dear old friend, and the first victim of vilhelm allowing his son to nickname his pokemon. louie isn't generally used for battle - rather, they provide tactical support through transforming to serve as various disguises or, if the chances of being struck immediately by the target are low, as bait. they've spent a lot of time as vilhelm's body double, and can play the part down to their trainer's mannerisms... although these days, they mostly just like to imitate him for fun.
