It's raining again. Remiel wonders when the rain will stop, but can at least appreciate the fact that the snow seems to be gone for good. Spring was on the horizon, after all. This was just a transition.[break][break]

His HISUIAN GOODRA, however, was loving the current weather. It took point as they traveled through the forest, keeping a vigilant eye out for any creature of interest. They were, after all, in the WARDEN'S SAFARI.[break][break]

The YAMPER had been RATTLED by the sight of the Hisuian Goodra lumbering through the woods. Seemingly angered by this, it yips and barks as it chases them around. It even attempts a cute little ROAR.[break][break]

Unamused by this, the large dragon simply stares at it before spewing an ACID SPRAY. The Yamper cries out as it scampers backward. Blinded, it runs into a tree and knocks itself unconscious. Remiel shakes his head before casting an empty ball at it afterward.[break][break]

The ORANGURU was doing everything it could to keep the rain from falling upon it. Unfortunately, the leaf it had chosen to shield itself with was far too small. Remiel frowns, then decides to step forward and help it.[break][break]

His Goodra helps by cutting the leaf they've chosen with its teeth. Afterward, the prince presents said leaf to the ape and watches as it uses it as an umbrella. Yes, this one was perfectly sized. And, once they assured themselves of that, the pair moved on.[break][break]

The BOMBIRDIER may have looked unassuming to Remiel, but it proves to be a far greater threat than he imagined. It delivers one PARTING SHOT from another as it maintains aerial superiority above. It even manages to avoid a HYDRO CANNON that his Hisuian Goodra fires.[break][break]

But, just as he had underestimated it, the Bormbirdier had underestimated him. Needless to say, it did not expect a human to spawn a LIGHTNING BOLT in his hand and strike it down. Once it hits the ground, said human pulls out an empty Luxury Ball and captures it.[break][break]

The forest is filled with a toxic haze. Remiel knows better than to step forward into it, so he sends his Hisuian Goodra inside instead. It has a much higher tolerance than he.[break][break]

Before long, he hears the blast of a HYDRO CANNON and watches as a KOFFING is expelled from the haze before hitting a tree. It quivers and shakes as it prepares to EXPLODE, and the prince is forced to take cover in a ditch before it does. When the smoke clears, he reemerges to capture it within the confines of a Luxury Ball.[break][break]

A METAL SOUND echoes throughout the rainy forest. At first, Remiel thinks they might be working on some kind of construction effort within the Safari Zone. After some thought, however, he realizes this is illogical. This was a wildlife preserve, after all.[break][break]

He decides to investigate. And, before long, he comes across the true source of the sound: a TOXEL crying in the rain. Its parents were no doubt somewhere nearby, so the EX-ADMIN decides to leave it alone.[break][break]

The wild FROAKIE executes a QUICK ATTACK, striking at his Hisuian Goodra after it leaps out from the rainy fog. It only manages to strike the dragon's steel shell, however. It hisses in pain after landing on the ground, clutching at the foot that had cast its kick.[break][break]

Not one to waste an opportunity, the Hisuian Goodra strikes with a fiery DRAGON BREATH. In the wake of those blue flames, both it and its master find the Froakie PARALYZED. Pulling out a Luxury Ball and capturing is easy enough afterward.[break][break]
