There'd recently been a number of strange disappearances occurring around these areas, both people and pokémon going missing without a trace, boats left unmanned, beachside homes empty, no signs of a scuffle nor even intrusion. Such a thing has left the League puzzled, especially because even people sent to investigate the disappearances have themselves seemed to vanish without a trace.[break][break]

Of course, Bella hadn't been aware of any of this, instead she'd heard of the dilapidated ruins of a massive sea facility left to rust, and the place practically oozed and screamed with haunted shit here vibes for the streamer. She'd been hurried pointing into the darker depths while dragging along her Rotom Phone on stream, "C'mon, Shadies, SUNKEN SHIP! There's gotta be some sort of vengeful spirit or something in here right?" she'd practically been beaming with delight, unaware that this place may be home to a malevolent monster. Though honestly, Bella would probably delight from that too.[break][break]

Of course, Bella had been playing appropriate music for her stream the entire time, unaware of just what might overhear it in this old echoing creaking shipwreck.[break][break]

"Yeah so, we gotta be REEEEEAAAL quiet, boys," Bella had said in a hushed tone, and for once actually quieting down herself while doing so, taking a second to realise she'd still been playing the song aloud before muting it on her end—happy to let her stream enjoy it even if she couldn't. Each step would be met a bellowing groan and creak as she'd creeped further, she'd had a bit of an excited nervous smile, the environment was right up that spooky alley she just so positively loved the thrill of![break][break]

She'd skulked down a rickety rusted hallway. flinching as it seemed a misplaced step had set off a chain reaction, causing a blockage of the path behind her underneath collapsed piping and debris, just barely missing Bella and her Rotom phone. As the dust cleared, she'd peered back with an awkwardly nervous laugh, her heart in her throat as she'd realised just how dangerous that was. "W-well, nowhere to go but forward, huh guys?" she'd tried to build up her confidence, waving away a cloud of dust, thankful no shrapnel or anything had seemed to hit her, unaware of the things lurking nearby.[break][break]

Bella'd continued forward, looking around as it got darker and darker, clicking on a flashlight when she couldn't see a thing, yet, the light seemed to only give her tunnel vision, barely even five seconds after turning on the darn thing, she'd stepped right into a hole, tripping forward and falling down it, her Rotom desperately trying to catch up as she'd seemed to slide down through some sort of chute somewhere unknown, yet a flash of light from her little flashlight had flickered something she'd recognised, rather, someone, as she'd come out of some sort of large pipe and landed flat next to a particular person, landing in the most spectacularly graceful faceplant right in front of Ursula.[break][break]

"I... I'm oghey..." she'd muttered muffledly.

Bella'd struggled to her knees, practically peeling her face from the ground with a disgruntled groan, "hweh, Ursula?" she'd recognised the voice, though registering who it belonged to had taken a moment—her managing to utter the right name by plain instinct more than anything else. She'd almost forgotten the pain of her spectacular belly flop and faceplant, bolting up like an excited Poochyena, pointing at Eris with an excited agape smile, "hey! Ursula! What's up me homie?!" she'd called out joyously, no where near hip enough to greet anyone in such a manner.[break][break]

She'd fwipped her head around, realising something important, with it her whole body had turned as her hands went to immediately cover the camera of her Rotom Phone, "wait, shoot, Ursul-- er, you cool with getting filmed? Kinda on the job right now~" she'd asked, explaining in a rather lackadaisy tone.[break][break]

"Oooh, actually, how'sabout being my assistant for the day?! Looking for not-so-Gimmi-ghouls, spectres and the paranormal?!" she'd gotten a bit carried away, instantly moving her hands from her Rotom Phone to excitedly grabbing the poor girl by the shoulders, frantic at the prospective of having someone help her prove the supernatural real, and more than the simple pranks of ghost pokémon.[break][break]

In her excitement, she'd not particularly been mindful of how loud her voice was, nor of anything listening in, or how Eris' friend Reiner might react to her childish elation at the expense of his trainer.

"What are you -" One look at that Rotom phone, and a scowl mars her face as she turns her cheek. "Are you really here ghost hunting by yourself?"[break][break]

With how much of a walking whirlwind of chaos Bella is, Eris wonders what would have happened if she were to be left to her own devices. Reiner, on the other hand, merely raises a brow, her tail flicking from one side to another then back as he scrunches his nose. The ship reeks of more than just brine and barnacles. And at some point, he has to wonder if the rust he smells really is just that.[break][break]

"Reiner..."[break][break]

No matter, while Eris is busy being wrung out by the occult lady, he has time to survey their surroundings.[break][break]

"Reeeei-"[break][break]

He picks up bits and pieces of movement in the corner of his eyes.[break][break]

A tail hooks around Eris' waist, pulling her away from Bella's grasp. And Reiner finally turns his attention back to the woman, squinting with a no-nonsense look.
