It had been a very stressful week since his talk with THEO BECKETT, and sadly it was messing with him. He knows the training regiments haven't been up to par with his distractions, thus what he asked Eris Halla to do for him. And his sleep due to his paranoia was something not even Salem and Sabrina were able to relieve him of. Honestly he hasn't been this exhausted since the days in his old apartment and sadly he knew the days of this façade were over. [break][break]

And so its lead to this, for his calling ollie morales over to his apartment. [break][break]

Razz just sitting out on the balcony overlooking the city as he smoked that little bit of THC he needed to calm his nerves as he was finally considering about coming clean. Should Ollie knocked Salem would've answered the door and pointed him to his location outside. And when he walked out he probably would've seen just how much of a wreck he was with the bags under his eyes.

[break][break] a shadow casts itself over the balcony as the head ranger descends - dramatically as he ever is - on the back of his pidgeot. his face is slightly flushed, like he'd run all the way over the minute that Raziel Beckett had called for him.

[break][break] and maybe he had.

[break][break] with everything that had been happening on hoenn lately - especially with the recent "kidnappings" - he could take no chances when it came to one of their own.

[break][break] "razz," he starts off, boots hitting the floor. but he's quick to erase whatever question he was going to ask at the state of his friend's face. immediately, ollie rushes over, grabbing his shoulder. "razz! what's wrong? what's the matter?"

The bird is a surprise, sure there was the occasional time here and there he would take his Metagross up to his apartment but seeing a guest do it still through him off. He'd probably show more surprise if it we're for the smoke being used for his nerves, but he does tense up as the other was quick to get in close to ask his condition. [Break][break]

"I'm fine, I'm fine," he reassures the other as he puts out what he was smoking after slightly pushing back on the older man to give himself a little space. Okay he was semi-fine but not fully, "What of you? I've heard some crazy has been going on the past few days" he questions using the small talk for now as a way to prolong the inevitable talk he needed to have with the other.

[break][break] he notices the cigarettee pinched between his friend's fingers, and is suddenly reminded - almost comically - of Laurence Anderson. it was always ironic to him that both former heads hadn't gotten along, yet in some ways, they were incredibly similar.

[break][break] "are you smoking?" he said, clicking his tongue as he plucks the offending item from the younger man. "you know, that can kill you."

[break][break] his gesture is only half-teasing, though, knowing that razz can take well-care of himself.

[break][break] razz's next words make him billow out a sigh.

[break][break] "oh, man, you don't even know the half of it. it's insane, what's been happening." his brow furrows together. "rocket's probably got a new legendary, amnesty is in shambles, penny's pissed at me again and i have no idea why." he shakes his head. "and i've been visiting everyone who got taken."

"Its medical cannabis," Razz easily defense himself even as the older man steals it from him, he gives a soft 'ha' "What? want to see the prescription?" he lightly jokes but waves it off to let the other toss it if he wanted. Hes had enough that he's hoping he's dull himself for the conversation. For now listening to what Ollie knew about everything, some of it setting off alerts while others confused him.[break][break]

"the amnesty is in shambles?" he questions seeing if he couldn't get more details out of the Head Ranger and lightly starting to be greatful he was moved down, because then it would be him having to commute all this. Though he might have to announce something to the Rangers is Slateport at a later date, this was why it was a good idea to check in with the other. [break][break]

"i don't know how you and lars handled it. i want to help, but it's complicated when -" he grimaces, thinking of what annalise henderson had said to him not so long ago, the betrayal clear in her voice. and then there were people like Caleb Harcourt or Isaac Merlo, who he couldn't help but want to believe in.

[break][break] "i'm sure you heard it all before, especially at our latest AQUA meeting," he scratched his jaw. "but with everything that's been going on lately, the tensions been high." his mouth split into a frown, as if he was prepared to say more, maybe the same kind of speech that he'd given Laurence Anderson, when Raziel Beckett distracted him with a question.

[break][break] the mention of the kidnapped even seemed to make him deflate further.

[break][break] "i guess it depends. some people are alright, some people are far from it. most can't even explain what happened to them... whether it's cause of trauma or i don't know what."

[break][break] "but i guess i shouldn't be surprised, given what happened on mt. pyre with MATIAS SILPH."

"In fairness I don't do it outside the home, I think I get judged enough than to add 'and he also does drugs!' added to me," though he supposes that's the last of his worries now. [Break][break]

"I've been doing paperwork since I was a kid, be it helping my dad or doing my homework I've come to find it stress relieving so if you ever need help you're free to contact me, I'm not head but I'm still a captain," he offers his help because he wants to help his friend. [Break][break]

He sticks out his tongue in almost a toonish manner at the mention of AQUA, so many people petty with one another, "They could definitely learn a thing or two from the Rangers about getting along," sure he knows he has a few he didn't care for he still got along with them for the most part with no ill intent. [Break][break]

He gives a hum of understanding about the matias situation, unable to give much input about that. He needs to get it over with, "Im sorry to say but I have more bad news that may increase tensions a bit more"

"You really should, its not like I need to be in ever grad to help you with it," Razz continues his offer, but he doubts the older man would take him up on it. Especially after he shares what he needs to share. He takes a deep drag of his smoke as he tries to get his nerves under control. Yet somehow even with the smoke he can feel himself on high alert with his nerves on end. Showing him just how stressful this whole thing was. [break][break]

"Caleb? What's he have to do with anything?" he knows of the other status because of his position, but the two of them haven't interacted too much before hand. Though he feels like he should get to talking before he looses his nerve with the distraction. [break][break]

"No its not about him, just... to catch you up in case you haven't gotten to the reports," because he doesn't know if the other has had the time for it, "I got recruited as a rocket grunt while I was undercover trying to catch the ringleader of some underground pokemon club, been staying in the low ranks and giving information to the Rangers yada yada you know the works... [break][break]

... problem is that I recently got found out..." he allows the information to sink before he would go any deeper as this was all the tip of the iceberg.

[break][break] the head ranger blinks, however, as the conversation shifts back to the reports. suddenly, he thinks about the urgency that annalise henderson had when she'd provided them to him. did she know?

[break][break] "i read some of them," he said, head tilted. "is this about the toxic patrols or area zero? because anna already gave them to me. Thomas Benoit and i double-checked them, there isn't any evidence that - "

[break][break] that the drk triad had kidnapped their friends.

[break][break] but what razz actually ended up saying made him balk.

[break][break] "you did what?!" his voice was suddenly sharp. "razz!"

[break][break] of all his rangers, ollie thought he'd never have to worry about razz. even though he was young, the silph ranger was capable — capable enough to be captain and even head ranger. but perhaps such prestige had made him reckless.

[break][break] and it only got worse, the more razz spoke. his eyes flashed with alarm.

[break][break] "got found out? found out by who?"

[break][break] suddenly, his blood ran cold. he thought about THEO BECKETT, about what he'd said of annalise henderson.

[break][break] you should have tried harder. you let her rot away in those cells.

As the other snaps Razz can't help but flinch, an arm rasing in panic as his body instinctively predicts to be hit. But because this is Ollie of course it doesn't happen, and his body and mind can't seem to distinguish between his friend and those of the past as this situation was too familiar. His just trying to say his truth and the other snapping. [Break][break]

Razz tries his best to just play it off as he strokes his hand through his hair, and all he could really do is hope the other buys it. [Break][break]

"THEO BECKETT, but that's the least of the worries if this were a normal situation," because downplaying the Underboss was how to go about this. He grips his hands tight with each other as he stops looking into the other's eyes "If this were normal then it's no big deal because he would have nothing on me as I've done my job, I've informed my higher ups and have stopped operations... But this isn't normal because now he wants to blackmail me and...[break][break]

Ollie... I have... I have been lying to you for a very long time, but not just to you... But everyone.... " he needs to let that info sink in for the both of them before he can go on.

[break][break] he frowned, though, as razz continued his tale which only seemed to get worse and worse the more he spun it. what was razz doing undercover? why did it have to be THEO BECKETT of all people? why didn't razz seem to care?

He had ignored the apology as it wasn't needed, Ollie wasn't the reason why he flinched nearly time someone above him yelled. Though when he mentioned the name the young man just chuckles at that, an actual very rare chuckle from him all centered around both humor and stress. "That's only the tip of the iceberg Oliver," Razz saying the full name to stress the seriousness of it all. [break][break]

"Its not Razz Kingsman, I wasn't born in Kalos, and this scar was no lab accident," he informs the other breaking every lie he has told the other in the past. Though now with the ice finally broken it was easier to say everything else. "Its Raziel.... Raziel Pryde, I was born and raised in Kanto and I am the son of one of Kanto Rocket's Head Scientist Raphael Pryde...."[break][break]

That one he'll let settle in for a bit because the mention of his father's name hasn't past his lips in years. Hell hearing his old name in his changed voice still felt foreign to him as the last time he said it fully was near 6 years ago. "I was born to be nothing more than another soldier for Rocket," he finally continues after allowing the first information to pass fearing that if he stopped now he wouldn't be able to turn on the sink again. "My father and mother were both members before my brother and I were born, and so the same was expected of us when we came of age, trained to fight, trained to kill, trained for war when Rocket finally did it's last push[break][break]

But I hated it... I hated all of it as doing that... that wasn't what I wanted but I didn't have a choice back then," he can't help but look to his hands as he thinks back to all the blood he was force to spill as a mere child. He's up from his chair pacing back and forth as the anxiety of speaking his truth prevents him from just sitting still, "Unlike so many members who came to Rocket looking for power, thinking that joining Rocket would give them something, who willingly gave their lives for it just to be treated like shit I didn't get that choice, it was just expected..." a problem he seemed to have against so many who got recruited into Rocket just to be lied to as only a small handful could relate to his own experience. [break][break]

"At the end of the Johto war is when I left though, I had finally worked up the courage to tell my father I wanted to leave and then he did this," he points to his face, "My own father tried to kill me for being a 'traitor,' after everything I did for him to try and get Rocket's approval, to get his fucking approval..." tears are coming down his eyes now as he pauses to try and wipe them. Salem seemingly coming out of no where and offering him a handkerchief, Razz looking over his shoulder and noting that both Meowstic were there as a type of support. Razz taking the tissue before gathering Salem in his arms as he sat himself back down. [break][break]

"and THEO BECKETT knows all of this...." he continues his tone sounding more sorrowful and dead on the inside as at time his soul felt, "He knows all of this because he used to train me as well as a bunch of other kids of Rocket, and now he wants to use that information for blackmail but... I'm just so tired of being used by them, and I rather you know from me than learn from him."[break][break]

With all that finally out in the open he just sits and keeps hugging Salem, now having to fear what the other might think of him now.

[break][break] it felt... it felt like the world was unraveling beneath him as he spoke, and there was nothing that ollie knew was real anymore. Laurence Anderson had ties to rocket. Raziel Beckett had ties to rocket. Sénon Game had ties to rocket.
