These hotspots of dynergy have been created eras ago. It has been hypothesized that Eternatus' visitations to this land have caused them to form—or perhaps, its mere presence in space. Other theories include meteoroid impacts containing dynergy, other extraterrestrial Pokemon, and more.[break][break]

Around you, Poison Tera Crystals, minerals imbued with Dynamax Energy, and more exist for you to mine, harvest, and gather. However, more exists below each power spot. In fact, it is possible to leap into these power spots into dark labyrinthe caves below.[break][break]

It was so hands on deck it seemed, that Yuina found herself assigned on a handful of expeditions with a one Fernando Silph, a name she knew as one of the league council chairs. And a name for Aeos...[break][break]
"I can scout ahead first and get to the bottom so we can move below ground," Yuina spoke as she sat astride Rasza's shoulders, and she bid the dragon into the air and down into the depths of the power spot of the desert to begin their trek into the labyrinthian tunnels.

fernando is unfazed by the environment. his visage matches that of his GLALIE. frigid. singular, with no possibility beyond the cage of his facial muscles.

“we go together,” he says, standing atop his pokemon as it levitates over the edge. they enter free fall and his SYNC STONE shift in color. when they enter the POWER SPOT, it releases a heavy BLIZZARD, using the expulsion to offset their descent.

You may encounter a paranoid Pierce Creighton, one of Hoenn's Scientists, exploring the caves too. Should you approach him, he does not let you come close. The keenest eye may scry blood splatter on his shoes. Despite his haggard appearance, he bestows supplies should you require them. Otherwise, encounter poor bystanders trapped here, like backpackers or even a feral Megalopolan.[break][break]

Together they descended into the depths of the power spot, opening into a mess of tunnels and caves, different paths to take in every direction. As Fernando's ice type brought them to a slow via a blustery blizzard that burried their immediate surroundings in snow and ice, Yuina looked between the paths they had to take.[break][break]
The ice and snow was a great disturbance to the environment below, for down a path towards the right, what sounded like snarls and inhuman groans echoed along the cavern walls.[break]
"It sounds like we should go this way for now," Yuina deduced, motioning Rasza towards the left most path to continue their trek into the labyrinth.

Even here, TERA CRYSTALS are present. Like a virus, they've spread across the underground. Due to the concentrated dynergy in this place, encounter hallucinations—or hallucinations that become temporarily real by TERA CRYSTALS.[break][break]

And/or encounter a DYNAMAXED/GIGANTAMAXED POKEMON WITH A DYNAMAX SHIELD that must be downed. Regardless, the Pokemon will perish after its transformation. Investigating its carcass will reveal that it has somehow incorporated Dynite Ore onto its body. Though it is no Regi-titan, one may make macabre parallels.[break][break]

"Only a handful of times now, recently. I didn't have much experience with dynergy until the incident in the desert," Yuina returned, taking note of a particularly dense cluster of ore, good for samples and testing.[break]
"It seems like the phenomena is taking stronger roots like Terastal energy, so I've been trying to get familiar with it," she mentioned, starting to chip into the ore cluster in an attempt to mine out a handful of samples to take to the surface.
