Around you, Poison Tera Crystals, minerals imbued with Dynamax Energy, and more exist for you to mine, harvest, and gather. However, more exists below each power spot. In fact, it is possible to leap into these power spots into dark labyrinthe caves below.[break][break]

With as many individuals who were caught in the midst of the titanic battle against the golem in the desert, it was no wonder that investigations into one of the power spots within the sands were prominent and on going.[break][break]
Yuina took note of a couple of readings on the equipment she kept with her, looking to the woman that she was assigned with for another dive into the depths below.[break]
"If you need help getting to the bottom, we can get you there," Yuina offered as she helped herself onto Omura's back, and should the woman need the assistance, they took the plunge into the heart of the energy together to begin their trek into the caverns below.

“I, uh… yeah, that might actually be helpful.” Brynn would mutter, looking over the edge at the depths stretching far below them. She’d never gotten the chance to look at a power spot from such proximity, let alone descend into one. On her own she would’ve never dared; her abismal luck mostly to blame for that.

She could already imagine the look Gwyar Wledig would give her if she’d tell him about this later on. Maybe that was the reason why she steeled her resolve and accepted her mission partner’s offer to help.

She’d hold on tightly as the descent started, only sheepishly asking for the woman’s name after several long-stretching moments of awe as they continued deeper and deeper into the power spot. ”I’m sorry if I forgot, but what was your name again? The excitement kinda left more holes in my mind than a Fearow’s Drill Peck….”

You may encounter a paranoid Pierce Creighton, one of Hoenn's Scientists, exploring the caves too. Should you approach him, he does not let you come close. The keenest eye may scry blood splatter on his shoes. Despite his haggard appearance, he bestows supplies should you require them. Otherwise, encounter poor bystanders trapped here, like backpackers or even a feral Megalopolan.[break][break]

Sat across Omura's broad back, with the other woman situated behind her, Yuina bid the ceratops into the depths below. It was far from the first time and she would dare to say it wouldn't be the last that she had descended into a power spot, especially as the idea of dynergy had become that much more prominent.[break]
Omura too was used to the descent by now, his great paws leaping down from ledge to ledge until they made it to the bottom.[break][break]
"Oh, I'm Yuina, Yuina Higashi," she offered in return as she moved to dismount from Omura's back. The ceratops glowered on open maw, swaying his crest. He could already sense that something was amiss, that something was nearing, and it was coming from their right. So Yuina began to move left.[break][break]
"What's your name? Have you ever been down in the Dynergy caves before?"

Yuina Higashi. She's heard the name before, but it's nice to finally put a face on the name as well. "Brynnhildr Erling," she returns in kind while sliding off the Paradox pokémon. "Brynn, if you like. Pleased to meet you... and to answer that question. No, never been here before. It's my first time near one, even."

Which makes the things she sees within the Dynergy caves all the more special. And dangerous. When she sees Yuina going left, she doesn't even question it and follows suit. "I'm guessing you've been here before, then?" Not that of a wild guess, but it's the confidence with which the other woman navigates her way that makes it more certain.

There's noises having her on focus. In the distance something moves, keeping the Unovan on attention. Subtly she taps one of her pokéballs, Spica appearing beside her and immediately scanning the strange area it finds itself in. "Are there other people down here, you think?"

Even here, TERA CRYSTALS are present. Like a virus, they've spread across the underground. Due to the concentrated dynergy in this place, encounter hallucinations—or hallucinations that become temporarily real by TERA CRYSTALS.[break][break]

And/or encounter a DYNAMAXED/GIGANTAMAXED POKEMON WITH A DYNAMAX SHIELD that must be downed. Regardless, the Pokemon will perish after its transformation. Investigating its carcass will reveal that it has somehow incorporated Dynite Ore onto its body. Though it is no Regi-titan, one may make macabre parallels.[break][break]
