Zabaglione stood close to Mint while Diomedes emoted at their trainer. A little blue Gligar raspberried the trio, hanging from a branch and taunting the group. Mint grinned pointing at the ground type before Zabaglione ran after it. But Diomedes is faster, having an easier vantage point while floating, and blasts the pokemon with HIDDEN POWER. The Gligar is taken off guard and knocked onto the ground. While trying to breath, Zabaglione picked it up and dragged it back while Mint tapped a safari ball onto its forehead.

The purple menace barked and trembled in his arms, the overabundance of energy in his system that had appeared ever since his shadowfication lessening as he ran around. Diomedes watched for a moment before tentatively coming close as well. Mint nuzzled his partner before looking up at the expectant, almost pleading Unown D. "Aww, you too my lil' guy, c'mere." he said, fondness apparent as the Unown moved to the other side and snuggled up against his open cheek. Zabaglione grumbled into Mint's chest as the trio carefully side stepped a Baltoy as it crossed their path, letting it busy itself with whatever it was doing.

Annoyed by Mint's split affections, Zabaglione huffs and goes up ahead towards the rushing water of the river ahead. Mint follows, taking a chance to hold Diomedes and run, feeling it would be faster on instinct. He forgot Diomedes can TELEPORT. Zabaglione rushes forward and a ?little Horsea spits murk at him teasing the rushing Zizgagoon. Zaba trips and falls to the ground while barking and whining. Diomedes then steps in, shooting HIDDEN POWER at it in a sudden burst of three. It dodges the first, is nicked by the second, and finally blasted out of the water by the third. Mint is quick to toss his safari ball before going to check on his partner while his Unown retrieves the ball.

Diomedes retrieved the safari ball, only to be followed by a little meteoroid pokemon. As Mint pulled out a spare, crumpled up napkin t wipe Zabaglione's eyes, the Minior floats about curiously. It orbits aorund Diomedes as the Unown D awkwardly tries to return the favor. As they rotated together, Mint takes the opportunity to clap one of his pokeballs against the Minior. Zabaglione, freshened up and at his feet, barks excitedly at the quick catch attempt.

As his trainer congratulated their colleague on another catch, the Zigzagoon was busy staring and crawling towards a big eyed, emerald bug laying in wait. The shiny Trapinch doesn't move, doesn't even twitch. Zabaglione gets ready to pounce and the bug tentatively opens its jaws. But before the zigzagoon can jump into the bug's waiting jaws, Mint tosses his last safari ball. "Zaba! Don't do that!" he scolded as he scooped up the purple Zigzagoon. "You need to be more careful." he added frowning at his baby as he held the Zigzagoon up by the pits.
