Gwen let out a soft grunt as she walked into the Safari Zone. The doctors hadn't noticed that she had been absent from her hospital bed but likely would by the time she got back. But there had been a listing for one of the Pokemon in this month's haul that she wanted to get before they were rotated for the next batch. The ranger's right jacket sleeve hung loose, with the left slowly fumbling for a pokeball until it slipped onto the ground. "..." She hated being so useless. Something so trivial was now just out of her league.

The Garchomp beside her looked at his trainer with worry. She was sullen and clearly in pain being out of bed, yet here she was. Gishath nudged her side as she didn't react. "I'm fine."
