Born in the Galar region to the once highly esteemed Valentine family, Reagan spent her childhood growing up in an isolated estate within the Glimwood Tangle, miles away from the famous town of Ballonlea. Despite having no human friends to call her own, she was raised by a gaggle of nannies, maids, private teachers, and her doting mother. Playtime typically consisted of hosting tea parties for Fairy Pokémon (and imaginary friends) within the magical forest. At the age of ten, as was customary in her family, she was gifted her own Pokémon through a mysterious ritual in the forest: a Hattena. Though she always wondered why mother didn't take her out much, Reagan remained unaware of her family's long tarnished reputation for a very long time. [break][break]
At the age of fifteen, the young girl demanded to be sent to Hammerlocke University for study. It was only then that she came to realize her family name carried infamy within the Galar region. An incident several centuries ago, wherein someone was reportedly poisoned by a Valentine who proclaimed herself a healer, beget claims of witchcraft and sinister dealings. People started to question why the Valentine's were so removed from everyone else, both physically and mentally. It was only when one of their Pokémon gigantamaxed and crushed a mountain that once loomed in the middle of the Glimwood Tangle, however, that the once royal Valentine family was entirely shunned by the community they once called their own. This left only their most devoted employees, who lived on-site at the Valentine estate, to stand by their side for generations to come. Many claimed that the actions of the Valentine family had been misunderstood. That they had, in fact, averted disaster. But no one believed them. [break][break]
Reagan was stunned. She had read none of this in the many texts within the estate's extensive library. Furthermore, no one (including her mother) had told her about this. As she studied at the university, students shunned her for the fact and treated her like a treacherous witch. One of the first people to look past the dark rumors and approach her like a normal human being was a lad by the name of Remiel Calcifet. They became quick friends... until, during the final two years at Hammerlocke University, Remiel began to grow distant. Cold and focused entirely on becoming a powerful and knowledgable trainer, Remy slowly became a person Reagan didn't recognize. But she refused to give in. And as fate would have it, the two were sent overseas to the Hoenn region after their graduation via a career exchange program. Reagan is now living in Lilycove City where she is employed as a kind and hardworking nurse.
