[break][break] they said you had gone too far, that your experiments were a crime against nature and that ethics and morals were lost to you. how dare they? how could they not see that only one life had to suffer for the greater good? they would rather the population at large be at risk because their feelings told them that what you were doing was wrong. if their morality blinded them to advancements that would make life better or everyone because a few individuals were harmed in the process, you wanted nothing to do with their morality. their abandonment and disdain towards your actions didn't cause you to see their way, but instead only drove you further away - into the darkness and out of their sight. [break][break] but there was one group that understood what you were doing was necessary. they didn't care what methods you had, as long as your research benefited their needs as well. your thirst for knowledge couldn't be quenched, you were going to continue your research no matter what - and instead of those who would call themselves 'good' embracing you, they pushed you further into the dark, towards a group that they considered 'evil'.
