HOW TO TRADE OR GIFT

• make a thread in this board to document your trading/gifting transaction.
• within the thread, tag your partner and document which pokemon are involved.
• ensure that your partner has confirmed the trade via a like or a post in the thread.
• post in mod requests to confirm the trade/gift!
• afterward, the moderator will archive the thread for you with a tagged confirmation!

GUIDELINES

• you can not trade between your own characters in any fashion, including through a third party.
• you can not trade starter pokemon.
• you can trade or gift other people pokemon without limit.
• in the case of a dropped character, staff will decide if their pokemon can be gifted or not.
• although not necessary, it would be ideal to have ic reasons for trading. if you do not have an ic reason, feel free to imagine and develop how your character encountered those pokemon, for it could be an interesting plot point.[break][break]
  
  depending on the pokemon however, an ic reason may be mandated (e.g. certain mythicals, legendaries, lore-significant pokemon, etc.).
• in order to gift or trade a pokemon to another character in any fashion, the giver must have posted at least twice in-character in the past 30 days. they may receive pokemon regardless of their posting frequency.
• if you plan on archiving a character, refer to staff prior to giving away their pokemon. if this becomes a common trend, some trades may be reversed post-mortem.

• We ask players that are solely joining the event with a character to earn rewards to give away or trade as currency refrain from such practices if they are also participating with another character they own.
