Two years have passed since
Vector Labs was robbed of their C-09 androids. In the pale arches of their headquarters, they’ve been watching, gathering clues, waiting and scheming. Their retrieval specialists have done well hunting parts in the city’s underbelly and in Overtown’s ghetto, but there are still loose ends to belay. The time to move is drawing close.
Liquid Skies is a mature (3-3-3), intermediate, no word count cyberpunk roleplay set in an alternate modern-day Miami where the line between human and machine have already blurred to the point where cyborgs are common, and sentient androids have just become a reality—although the general public doesn’t know this yet. Players enter as either
Vector Labs employees or affiliates, bloodthirsty criminals called
Know-Nothings and a growing undergrown movement dubbed
Amalgam as they struggle for the power to decide the fate of the C-09s that still hasn’t been chopped up and sold for parts on the black market.
Those parts are a chapter on their own, by the way, but we’ll get to that uh, later.
Eight months in, the site main plot, Feature Creep, has started rolling. The Amalgam plot hook,
No Hard Feelings has a good few entries. The
Winds of Change plot hook for Know-Nothings and the
Ivory Towershook for Vector Labs are still pretty much open as we await creative players with original concepts or the chops to grab a canon. Got ideas? Join our Discord, come say hi, and help us show a severely underestimated genre some love.
