"Others like you"... This didn't bode well. Velmos' reaction at first, when they met, seemed to indicate they had never met humans, but now... Adding to the fact that he was saying their realm was in a state of decay and wouldn't be around for much longer... In the words of a legendary smuggler: I got a bad feeling about this.[break][break]

As the elevator doors opened, the feeling of dread within Balder's chest grew stronger. He knew it was a trap from the get go, the hints were too obvious to be ignored (Unless you're Pokkenger but that's another story). But who would've expected they were dealing with a bunch of cannibals? Not the man of steel.[break][break]

While Pokkenger was vomitting in his helmet and Orion slammed the elevator buttons in an attempt to escape, Balder sighed. In the end, it was his fault. His fault that Pearson and his pokemon died, and were being devoured right now. His fault that Mateo might have suffered the same fate and that the bones in the corner were his. And his fault that the others might suffer the same fate.[break][break]

A switch got turned on in Balder's mind. Alright then. If fate wants to be that much of a bitch, I'll show it what I can do. The man couldn't help but laugh. The madness was slowly taking over. He looked at Velmos, who was welcoming them with his arms spread. "I'll have to agree with the lady, Velmos. It's against my diet to eat a former comrade. You sure delivered on the promise of greatest view though."[break][break]

Balder dropped his Clefairy upon the ground while Gliscor took flight and Dusknoir emerged from the shadows. It was time to show fate who was the true master here. The man of steel stepped forward, arms crossed before his face as he closed his eyes, tanking the poison. Surely his skin of steel would resist the poisonous substance that these beasts released, right?[break][break]

As Isra suggested the stairs and the poison attack ended, Balder nodded. "Yeah, you guys take the stairs and go down as quickly as possible. As soon as you enter them, don't look back. I'll follow soon after." Hopefully Orion and Kazimir would listen. Suddenly, Balder's pokemons began to move, with the Clefairy taking the charge.[break][break]

Since it was relatively small, even for its specie, the Clefairy ran underneath the 6 beasts to place itself in the middle of the room, before trying to attract everyone's attention with Spotlight. During that diversion, Dusknoir would plunge forward, fists covered in ice as it attempted to strike one of the beasts and Gliscor would attack another one with an Acrobatics.

THE PARTY WEAVES THROUGH the spray of poison. however, Balder Schwartz's protective insistence to take the naganadel's attacks rewards him with information— and pain.[break][break][break]

his powerful body is not slowed; however, Balder Schwartz would find that the poison is potent. despite the hearty constitution the alolan man possesses, it makes the breath difficult, as if the toxin is attempting to override his muscles.[break][break][break]

the ghostly energy from Isra Nightingale's golurk expands like a wave. the megalopolans seethe, their bloodied claws directing their naganadel to continue their assault. Kazimir Wynter's aegislash and meowstic repel further attacks with SWIFT.[break][break][break]

velmos laughs at Kazimir Wynter's knightly demeanor, distracted enough that he can not see Isra Nightingale's noivern begin to hasten itself, "CAN YOU REALLY CALL US CANNIBALS WHEN YOU ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD?" his poipole hovers above him, snickering before it fires NEEDLES at the blond man from its head. velmos strikes at kazimir too, throwing fists to distract him.[break][break][break]

Orion Lykos manages to avoid being impaled by a naganadel, his espeon managing to PSYCHICALLY push the stinger away— just barely.[break][break][break]

as Balder Schwartz's clefairy takes center stage, everyone is distracted momentarily. all naganadel and megalopolans, excluding velmos and his poipole, lunge for the clefairy like a hyenas on a carcass.[break][break][break]

as gliscor attacks one, Balder Schwartz's dusknoir punches another naganadel off. weakened by Kazimir Wynter's swift, the poison dragon finds its head punched clean off.[break][break][break]

but the decapitated dragon does not falter. it still moves, alive but blind, as it blindly FELL STINGERS around for Balder Schwartz and his pokemon, while the other dragons attempt to keep team solar from fleeing down the stairs.[break][break][break]

"y'know what? that's fair!" as the poipole launched needles at him kazimir was quick enough on his feet to take a step away from where they hit only to be rushed by velmos. one of the megalopians's fists managed to hit his mark as he struck the blonde right in the face. while the megalopian might have wanted to push kazimir down he would find that the blonde leaned into the fist as it was still pressed into his face. "still we don't take kindly to you eating our friend."

the aegislash in his hand began to glow a sinister purple color as kazimir shrugged off velmos' fist and started to swing his blade in a flurry of night slashes at him. he aimed to maim if not outright kill the man in his fit of anger, after all it was only fair that they trade a life for another if they were going to be really hospitable right? speaking of which.

even if velmos managed to survive the onslaught of his sword strikes he called for his meowstic to make a move that would surely hurt the man in some shape or form. "madame! hold down that little ultra beast! mr mew, jump pad! skywalker, behind me!" with the order issued the female meowstic's aura began to pulsate as she let loose a wave of psychic energy to hold down the poipole in mid-air and shake him around violently. if killing them worked or not he was going to at least weaken their forces even a tiny bit by trying to take one of their own with them.

kaz and his team made his way towards the stairs as balder managed to gain the attention of the foes in the room thanks to a very bright light show by him and his clefairy. as the dazzling light was hopefully enough to mask team's solar escape. however there were still too many of them around to make it work to its full potential and kaz was stopped by a naganadel that floated into his path. for a second the realization that they were still trapped in here made him come down from his anger high and he knew that one man couldn't get them all out of here, he needed to do his part too. "skywalker, swap out." he loudly whispered to his lucario as he released his aegislash from his grip and the ghost type took a fighting stance against the dragon as kazimir recalled his lucario and brought out his toxtricity.

"aniki let 'em all have a shocking experience" the poison lizard began to strum his guitar organs as electricity danced around him and spread through the floor into the shape of soudwaves that found their way to all the ultra beasts around them with his overdrive attack. "c'mon people let's move!" kaz called out to the rest of them as he made for the stairs.

The gravity of the situation settles like the poison in Balder's bloodstream, and Orion can't help but to feel frustrated by their twisted attempt at humour.[break][break]

Orion stumbles back from a Naganadel whose stinger threatens to impale him, casting a thankful glance to his Espeon as the beast is forced back in the nick of time. His heart hammers in his chest and he feels like a cornered animal. His head swings in the direction of Schwartz as he tells them to go on ahead.[break][break]

"Are you nuts? The last person we left behind got fucking eaten."[break][break]

He gestures sharply toward the mutilated corpse of one Pearson Black.[break][break]

"I'm not leaving unless we're all getting out of here." Jaw clenched, fear warps itself into a reckless bravery. Another pokeball is pulled from his supply and thrown, revealing a Hatterene. "Set up defenses! Percy, attack!"[break][break]

The air shimmers as Hatterene and Espeon attempt to set up the protective barriers of LIGHT SCREEN and REFLECT. The Type:Null seems to recognize its name, fur bristling along its spine as it snarls and launches itself into the fray with a DOUBLE-EDGED assault.[break][break]

Orion makes her laugh.

Her hand presses to her lips, shoving it back in her throat because now is not the time. The distraction is unwanted. Balder attracts attention, Kazimiar makes a show of force, there is an opportunity here that Isra will not see wasted on Orion's sanity.

Isra pats her thigh and the Zoroark follows her like dog being beckoned. She whistles and her Noivern scurries forward with her, sneaking to the right of the elevator, seeking the walls of the room the outlying area of the battle taking place before them. They slip bellow the illusion of her Zoroark as they move. Hiding them from view and giving her a chance to complete the task she sets for herself. Her Noivern chitters, psychic energy building even further within him and hastening his movements with even greater agility than before.

Isra watches the scuffle, whistling for her Golurk to move between her and them. He steps purposefully in line with her. The movement of one of many enemies makes him teeter on his feet and for a moment the giant looks as tho he might fall. Isra knows better, she watches a fist curl, sees the swing move him back towards the enemy. He shifts the movement into a Dynamic punch at one of the many nagandel in the room. His fists are like Iron, and should the move connect it won't be pleasant.

The woman's focus moves elsewhere. She's not moving towards the stairs but around the part of the room the megalopians had been in. There's something delicate in the movements that seek the bones, shifting through them for the right ones. Isra will know them when she sees them, she will find them when she feels them. Her eyes flit upward, watching the scuffle with her Noivern a more steady and watchful eye.

The Banette flickers in the shadows beside her, watchful and waiting. One had hovers over her pokeballs, waiting to react.

As the poison wave struck Balder's body, eating away at the fabric that formed his shirt, the man could feel the poison entering his body. Muscles were being attacked, even his lungs, hindering his capacity to breath a bit. Yet... he held strong. Was it due to the blessing of Solgaleo that made his body similar to steel, thus more resistant to poisons? Hard to say.[break][break]

Almost immediately when the Clefairy used her Spotlight, most of the enemy rushed towards it, making the alolan man's eyes grow wide. "Oh Fuck. KENKO, METRONOME AND RUN!" In order to help the clefairy escape, Balder pulled another pokeball from his belts, summoning his Beautifly. "Spore, do your best to assist her!"[break][break]

The butterfly flew as high as it could, unleashing Stun Spore upon the group of aliens and their pokemons. As for the Clefairy, it attempted to jump out of harm's way, wiggling its fingers to summon the powers of Metronome, hopefully allowing the usage of a move that would help her out of this situation.[break][break]

Back to the trainers, out of all 4 of them, it seemed like Orion was the only one trying to retain his sanity. Pokkenger had gone down the revenge road, while keeping some senses to himself and listening to Balder's orders of moving towards the stairs. Isra... Was she... collecting bones? Better not go deeper into this. If she was sent here, there was a reason and collecting the bones might be related to it. The man of steel looked at Orion, his eyebrows frowning.[break][break]

"In case you haven't fucking noticed yet, especially after what I did during the attacks of the Clown on slateport, I'm made of goddamn Steel. I even thanked a sludge of poison right friggin' now and am still standing." The man took a deep breath. Was it due to the poison that he was running out of air faster? Possibly. "Due to the steel properties of my skin, those degenerates can't eat me. Unless they got teeth and jaw strength to go through an oversized steel pole, but that's beside my point!"[break][break]

Balder sighed, before continuing. "If you're not gonna move, I'm going to move you. And you're not gonna like it. And you'll also turn blind." To make the councilman his point, Balder started to emit light from his right hand, trying to hide it from the aliens. Would he get the message now?[break][break]

Back to the pokemons. As one of the Naganadels' head flew off, the Dusknoir stopped attacking. Was the creature dead? How could its head fly off like that? But when the body kept moving once more, the ghost type shrieked, horrified to see that. What manner of creatures could be fighting without a head and still shoot fell stingers somewhat accurately to Balder and his team?![break][break]

Luckily, since they weren't properly aimed, the Gliscor and Dusknoir were able to avoid the attacks. Balder, seeing the Stingers go towards him, grabbed Orion and moved out of the way, leaving the elevator with the councilman. He slightly pushed the man towards the stairs as he ordered his team for some more actions.[break][break]

"Dusk, finish that freak off with another Ice Punch! Scorpio, collect its head and retreat!" Still somewhat afraid, the Dusknoir almost refused to do the order. Yet, it was true that getting rid of it ASAP would solve the issue. The Dusknoir reeled his arm back, letting the frosty energy cover his fist before he unleashed a final Ice Punch towards the guts of the headless dragon.[break][break]

The Gliscor, on his end, flew over everyone, before swooping down to collect the inanimate head of the Naganadiel. Once collected, it tried to fly back to Balder, ready to get out of this hell hole and never see this much horror again.

VELMOS IS TORN BY SEVERAL STRIKES. although he manages to avoid most the swings, Kazimir Wynter would find satisfaction in causing the megalopolan to bleed. the blood that stains his aegislash is red— and not some alien blue.[break][break][break]

as Balder Schwartz attempts to shuttle the councilman to the stairs, several barriers erect themselves with with a glimmering sheen. Orion Lykos's type:null strikes a naganadel away as an OVERDRIVE and DYNAMIC PUNCH protects their party in their retreat.[break][break][break]

Balder Schwartz's clefairy's METRONOME summons a BOOMBURST. from its bleeding mouth, a harsh cacophonic shriek blares outward. the force causes the pink pokemon to catapult backwards for someone to catch. unfortunately, the pokemon seems severely injured, with bites and maimed limbs.[break][break][break]

as Kazimir Wynter attempts to leave with velmos' poipole, Isra Nightingale gathers some grisly bones from the floor. the zoroark's ILLUSION allows her to extend her search to several coins, valuing 50 PD. as everyone leaves down the staircase, they can hear the horde of naganadel and megalopolans rushing behind them.[break][break][break]

the steps are steep. easy to trip over. Kazimir Wynter would find that the poipole they have seized disappears into a poof of smoke, for he has been duped by a SUBSTITUTE.[break][break][break]

they pass by several floors. each floor seems to possess more megalopolans. more sullen eyes that express ancient hunger. with every flight of stairs, the horde that chases them grows larger.[break][break][break]

the staircase descends into the second floor. however, around them, several pod-like eggs are arranged in clusters. should someone desire one, they only have time to dissect one out from its cluster— for it is a team effort.[break][break][break]

to the left, a wide window looks out on to the streets of the city.[break][break][break]

his hand passes through a puff of smoke and before he could even register what had happened kazimir was suddenly pushed towards the exit by everyone heading his way. balder was still right, they had to leave or end up like dinner, so he would make sure that no one got left behind. "madame! help out the clefairy and lets bolt!" he shouted as his other pokemon gathered around him while his meowstic uses its psychic powers to pick up the injured clefairy as its flying in the air thanks to its forceful attack and carry it over to the escaping team. "skywalker lets get a quick fix! and lets get out of here."

with a nod the lucario summoned an orb of water like energy that exploded into a mist that surrounded everyone as they retreated. as kaz took balder's clefairy he did what he could to return his pokemon, returning his lucario and twin meowstics back into their ball leaving only his aegilsash and toxtricity out. he would need them in case they had to fight through even more enemies.

as they ran down the stairs kaz could only look back at the growing mass of cannibals chasing after them. if they didn't get out of here quick they were surely their next meal. however all thoughts of escape came to a screeching halt as he noticed something, clusters of what look like pods lining the walls of the second floor staircase. he took a moment to stop his running and inspect one of the pods and notice that it was oddly...egg shaped. were they incubating those ultra beasts in here?

"oathkeeper, try to dig one of these things out yeah?" the ghostly sword gave a salute with its cloth hands before digging itself into the cluster to try and cutting an egg loose. meanwhile kaz reached into his bag and pulled out a glove with a stone embedded into it and began to slip it on before raising his voice, "HEY! EVERYONE, HELP OATHKEEPER TRY AND PULL OUT ONE OF THOSE EGGS, WE AIN'T LEAVING EMPTY-HANDED! I'LL SLOW DOWN THE CANNIBALS!" the glove lit up at the sound of his words and it enveloped his toxtricity, changing its shape into something more monstorous.

"ok aniki, lets show these goons why your a fucking rockstar. HEY ALIENS! LET'S SHOW YA THE DULCET TONES OF MY ANIKI! WITH A LITTLE TUNE CALLED 'GOODBYE BABEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!'" as kaz did an air guitar motion so did his pokemon, only it was struming along its body as its power chords echoed through the stairs and electricfying pulses suddenly erupted around it and climbed up the stair case sending its power into overdrive.

Without direction, as if she could sense the gravity of their situation, Orion's Espeon offers a HELPING HAND to her fellow psychic-type. With their combined efforts, Hatterene sends out a DAZZLING GLEAM of light and energy that would hopefully slow their foe's pursuit. The thunder of Megalopolan footsteps on the stairs behind him grows louder in tandem with his heartbeat.[break][break]

He doesn't agree with the idea of stopping to loot the alien pods, but makes a quick assumption that helping might be quicker than squabbling over it. Theirs was not a unified group, as they'd already shown, and they'd only be in more danger if they fell apart at the seams.[break][break]

The Clefairy survived, and so did everyone else. That was a miracle in itself. As the team began to move towards the stairs, Orion tried to free himself from Balder's arm, to which the man decided to oblige, but with a warning. "Then keep moving and stop complaining. I don't want you or anyone else to die here!"[break][break]

"Scorpio, clean that head and throw it my way!" Surprised by the weird order from his master, the Gliscor began to clean it rapidly, finding it surprisingly empty, before throwing it to the Alolan man. As the man caught it, he recalled the Clefairy, the Dusknoir and the Gliscor. Keeping them on the field might end up being dangerous for these three.[break][break]

Now that these two fighters had been retrieved, Balder had some worries lifted off his shoulders. These creatures they were facing were a lot more dangerous then expected. And now that the group was moving down the stairs, they had a chance to emerge out of here alive. It was sad for Pearson, but his remains would have to stay here.[break][break]

Beautifly began flying forward, spreading Stun Spores at every floor while Balder was covering the rear. Seeing how Orion had the same idea Balder did Previously, to blind their enemies, the Alolan man proceeded to put the Naganadel head on his own head, like an helmet, to free his hands. Then, he rushed beside the Hatterene and Espeon, raising both arms as he concentrated all of his powers in the palm of his hands. "SOLAR FLARE!"[break][break]

Adding to the Dazzling Gleam from the witch creature, the solar light that Balder emitted would surely blind the opponents for a while. Thus he proceeded going down, all the way to the 2nd floor. Reaching the floor, however... He noticed Pokkenger and his team trying to grab a cocoon. "This really ain't the best timing... God damn it."[break][break]

Balder pulled another pokeball from his belt, summoning his Garchomp. "Cyn, help them! I'll make us an exit!!" The Garchomp roared, starting to use her Dragon Claw-empowered extensions on her forearms to slash away at the cocoon's tendrils holding it steady. As for the alolan trainer... He was now backing all the way to the stairs, taking a runner position.[break][break]

After taking a deep breath, the ex-Gym Leader started sprinting heading past the cocoon group and straight to the giant window. At the last second, the man tucked his head in, which was still protected by the Nagadaniel's head, and proceeded to charge through the glass. Assuming the charge from the Man of Steel had worked, he would proceed to grab a final pokeball from his belt, a special once, and open it. "LEO! GET US OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!" And thus would the sun lion appear.

BALDER / ORION / KAZIMIR'S RESEARCH THREAD

IN THIS DARK TOWER, flashbangs and spores scatter across the floors. Sprawling limbs and the cold chatter of teeth echo across the walls. The party is able to keep ahead of the incoming horde. Within the small respite provided by their distractions, Kazimir Wynter and Orion Lykos's Pokemon are able to dislodge the egg from its cluster. It is unlike any Pokemon egg they have ever seen, its membrane thick and its surface slick with alien-like goop.

Balder Schwartz, with his morbid helmet in place, smashes through the window. His fortified body crashes into the glass and within that beautiful cascade of shards, he summons his Solgaleo. The horde enters the room— and everyone else must make haste as well.

As Solgaleo lands on the black pavement, it roars. But something else roars back. The alleyways suddenly fill with the cries of more Megalopolans. From their hiding places, crowd upon crowd of Megalopolans rush out into the main street toward Balder Schwartz, his Solgaleo, and presumably everyone else that follows. Naganadel blot out the sky— and make it darker than it already is. They dive down, attempting to impale the party, while several others slam their needles into the lion.

In pain, but ever resilient, the Solgaleo opens an Ultra Wormhole with its noble voice as the horde swarms them. The Pokemon is quick to retaliate; however, it eyes Balder Schwartz and the rest of the group. Its gaze reminds Balder Schwartz of their first encounter. Intense, radiant, blinding. The Solgaleo roars once more, and an incredible flash of light expands forth from its body. Megalopolan and Ultra Beast alike are tossed back from the blast, allowing the party an opportunity to escape by jumping into the wormhole.

The Lion slumps to its knees. Unable to move, it looks to Balder Schwartz before swinging its head toward the portal. From its body, particles of light begin to emit from its limbs, surging into the Alolan man's form. Solgaleo howls, as if to say, "GO."

BALDER RETAINS HIS AVATAR POWERS:[break]
all of balder's pokemon receive increased strength under the sun.

balder's body, already well-conditioned as it is, will also possess further durability and strength like steel, which he can toggle on and off at will.
balder's physical strikes such as punches can be imbued with the energy of the sun to inflict the BURN status condition.
balder can use his own radiance to charge SOLAR BLADE and SOLAR BEAM, bypassing the 1-turn charge they normally require.

HOWEVER, THIS SOLGALEO IS LOST[break]TO THE MEGALOPOLANS.

FLEE ULTRA MEGALOPOLIS BY JUMPING INTO THE WORMHOLE.

as the egg broke free from its prison kazimir was the first to reach out and grab it while balder made short work of a window nad open up a path of escape for the group to jump through as he did first and called out his solgaleo to open up a way out for them. seeing the reinforcements coming from above and all around the city as kazimir climbed out the window it probably wasn't such a bad idea to get out of dodge. "here! hold this for a sec!" kazimir shouted as he handed balder the egg and took out pokeball after pokeball to return his pokemon like his toxtricity who was busy fighting back the crowd with more overdrives to the point that it made his chest hurt. once they were back in their balls kazimir took a look at the portal and a final look at the city they were in thinking if he would ever come back.

"...they'll pay at least for what they did." he muttered under his breath as he returned the last of his pokemon and did a running jump into the portal. "last one's in a rotten eggxecute!" or dinner for these savages, but being a rotten egg was probably way better than being eaten. he wouldn't know, he didn't know how people tasted and didn't want to ask these aliens if they tasted any good.

Balder's grip had been strong, and Orion rubs sullenly at his arm when the other lets go. He offers no word of thanks, nor any further argument, quick to break into a run and put as much distance between himself and the aliens as he could.[break][break]

It's not enough.[break][break]

He stumbles to a halt as Balder crashes through a window, providing the only real avenue for escape. It's dangerous, foolish, but there's no other choice — it's Percy who makes the decision for him, the Type: Null bunching its muscles and looking back at him through the heavy helmet it wore. Orion's heart wrenches. He had created this sorry beast, and now it was deciding to help him.[break][break]

There's no other choice.[break][break]

He jumps on Type: Null's back and holds on for dear life as it leaps through the window after Balder. Espeon and Hatterene follow behind. When they land, it is not among safety as they'd hoped. The mighty roar of Solgaleo is answered by the rallying cries of their alien foe, amplified by the horrific droning of the Naganadel swarm above. Espeon does her best to REFLECT their stingers, but Orion knows she can't hold them off for long.[break][break]

We're going to die here.[break][break]

But just as it had brought them here, Solgaleo offers a way out. Space rends apart through its will, the lion's brilliance holding off the enemy. Orion almost laughs from sheer relief before he realises the legendary does not intend to accompany them.[break][break]

There's no other choice.[break][break]

Orion recalls his Pokemon with a heavy heart. "Thank you," he whispers to the lion, and jumps into the portal.

Following the emergence of Solgaleo, Balder proceeded to recall Garchomp and Beautifly. Keeping them out at this stage would be more dangerous for them then anything. And yet... Their troubles were far from over. For as soon as the lion roared, multiple screams answered in return.[break][break]

Crawling down from buildings, emerging from hidden doors, jumping out of the sewers... There was no end to them. Every direction that Balder looked at, all he could see was Megalopolans running towards them and their weird dragons aiming to attack them. The Alolan man proceeded to dodge the incoming attacks, fighting back as Solgaleo was trying to fend them off. It was only with a massive light blast from the lion that they were granted a small window.[break][break]

Pokkenger gave the ex-gym leader an egg before running forward into the portal, quickly followed by Orion. Hopefully, Isra tagged along as well, the man had lost sight of her. But before Balder could rush in, he noticed the lion on the ground. "Oh fuck no, you can't be serious."[break][break]

Heavy steps were taken, going towards the creature. The lion was unable to move and most of its strengths... Were now entering Balder's body. "Leo, you can't.... You can't stay here! They'll kill you!" The man tried to lift the metal lion... Yet even with his natural and avatar strength, it was impossible. The lion was unmoving.[break][break]

The legendary creature proceeded to roar, telling his avatar to go. To continue without him. "YOU KNOW I CAN'T FUCKING DO THAT!" Balder summoned his Gallade, giving it the egg and pushing it into the portal. Rushing back to the Lion, the man still attempted to lift one of the creature's legs, trying to drag it if needed.[break][break]

But the light was slowly fading away. The enemies were marching closer again. There was no time. Balder dropped the paw of the creature. "... Is this it? Is this how I lose you too? First my family, then my job and status, now one of my closest friends... FOR FUCK SAKE!" The man slammed his foot into the ground, filled with rage. Tears were slowly rolling down his cheeks.[break][break]

Then.... The lion nudged him with his head. As if indicating that things will be fine somehow. To not worry, to keep doing his best. "... I shouldn't have brought us here to begin with." Leo growled in return, as if to reprimand the man. "Fucking fine. I'll go. But you stay alive. At all goddamn costs. I'll find a way to save you, you got that?!"[break][break]

With the last of its strengths, the Lion proceeded to push Balder gently. The megalopolans were getting extremely close. If he wasn't leaving now, he would never be able to. "... Fuck. STAY ALIVE LEO!" And thus, Balder proceeded to jump in the portal, angry at his own weakness, at himself for causing all of this madness to happen.
