[break][break] x aerin’s father on the other hand abandoned field research dreams to look after his new daughter. he worked as a writer which provided a small and somewhat inconsistent income, then later, once she was old enough to fend for herself after school, became a teacher. when aerin was thirteen he got married and gave her three new siblings; twin girls and a boy. along with a step-brother around her age. [break][break] x went to university in galar studying geology. there was no scholarships avaliable so she has a lovely lump of student debt looming over her head. it was worth it, though.[break][break] x after finishing university, she got a year-long position interning at the laboratory in lumiose city, kalos. she worked weekends in a café for extra pocket-money and spent whatever time she could spare competing in the battle institute. [break][break] x recently began employment within devon corp's geology department. there's a lot of field research involved which she adores.
