THE BRIEFING

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. The infinite cosmos above us has infinite stories to tell, and those stories hide as secrets in the brightness of every star. The Mossdeep Observatory is encouraging the public to rebuild a relationship with our cosmos after the potentially traumatizing events of METENO 99943 and the Star Soiree. Using the equipment at the observatory itself, or a backyard telescope kit anywhere else, everyone is free to imagine a story of their own in the final frontier.

For this mission, chart a new constellation with a partner, name it and tell the observatory a story or myth about it. You may also opt to reflect on the events of METENO 99943/Star Soiree, the impact that might have had on your character, or the cosmos in general instead.
