UNEARTHLY UNDERSTUDIES FINALLY ENDS. with the beauty contest concluded and the "roots of the matter" raid close to finishing, it is time for a shift into summer. unfortunately, fairy-type perks will end tonight at midnight (6/7 12AM) to make way for the next event cycle: "towers of strength."[break][break][break]

this new event cycle focuses on FIGHTING & DARK types, so this is a fantastic time to hunt for pokemon of those respective typings. in particular, you may see the event's perks below:[break][break][break]

fighting & dark-type perks

• fighting & dark-type pokemon have their evolutions discounted by 50%.
• fighting & dark-type pokemon have a higher chance of possessing 5 moves, egg moves, hidden abilities, and being shiny.
• carvanha can be sold to the black market for 100 PD.

• a new selection of safari zone pokemon have arrived.
• incoming swarms, new missions, and more.

as noted above, this event period will run until july 13th, 12:00AM PST; however, it is quite possible that the event duration will be extended considering current world events.[break][break][break]

DURING THIS EVENT CYCLE, there may be a variety of activities to engage in. Although there will be no big raid or faction-based event, I hope the brainstormed ideas below may intrigue you if they come into fruition![break][break][break]

first, there are endeavour lists your characters can attempt to clear. there will be two endeavour lists, but you will only be able to select one, to reflect the upcoming dlc for pokemon sword & shield and the tower of darkness/tower of water. you can find them here:[break][break]

THE TOWER CHALLENGE

A NEW TEST OF STRENGTH arrives on to hoenn. by partnering with several other characters and their pokemon, the league has devised a tower of battles for you. reach the top of the tower to receive a special reward. however, it won't be as easy as you think. you will be able to use a variety of your pokemon from your pcs in order to defeat the challenges present in each level. rolls will also be used.[break][break][break]

next, summer will possibly feature a pokeathlon event! although the tokyo olympics may be cancelled, we can bring the spirit of it here. there may still be tie-ins with the overall site plot, but then again, what event hasn't been truly tied with it?[break][break][break]
