travel to the desert with me, back to route 111, before the stone titan's ruins were excavated. it was there that a baby was left, to cry and cry. those who worshipped the stone titan took him in, but they could not keep him. his spirit was far to wild. for as he grew, he quickly took the protective pokemon they gave him and he ran.[break][break]

as hard and as fast as he could. with each region he traversed, he battled and raised whichever pokemon he came into contact with. some would call him a trainer, and for a while he believed them. but there was an empty void left. even as he challenged the gym leaders, even as he challenged the elites of the regions, he found himself ... empty.[break][break]

learning of investments brought to him a new fun. the stock market, if learned correctly, could become deliciously predictable if one knew how to work the system well enough. perhaps his methods became underhanded, but that didn't stop his climb. with each and every new investment came the assurance of securing that investment climbed highest.[break][break]

though very good at hiding himself through the cover of becoming one of the best teachers to the pokemon academies, he still found himself feeling a bit empty.[break][break]

word of kanto's efforts against rocket peaked his interest, but he wasn't foolish enough to take action right away. no, he was clever enough to wait and see where it would lead. which in return, led him to making his way to hoenn.[break][break]

now, in the guise of a teacher at the pokemon academy in rustboro city, asher leivern makes an effort to keep himself as under the radar as possible while learning more information to seek out big investments that will pay him back ten times. from trainers and businesses, to gym leaders and even elite four members.[break][break]

what he's after, however, is still a mystery even to him. for no amount of money or fame has won his favor... he is desperately trying to find the point to life itself, while playing the patient observer.[break][break]

and perhaps that's it. perhaps he should take action... but only time will tell.
