After that silly display with Sam, the next floor opened to them—and his eyebrows went even higher.[break][break]

Really? A Braviary? Sky Drop? Should be simple enough, he thought as he went to the Rotomi, before retrieving one particular Pokémon he was lucky to have rescued before it had gotten sold off by its previous owner. Turning to the three, there was this twinkle in his eye as he spoke up.[break][break]

“Thunder. Or Twister. That’s our best option to hit the Braviary—much as I don’t want to unleash violence on it—since I’ll be using this one,” and with that he sent out his ‘ace in the hole’, the tiny little speck of a shadow…[break][break]

“Pretty sure he’s very light, right?” he remarked as he watched the Shedinja get picked up by the Braviary and brought skyward.[break][break]

Assuring failure was easy, Isra produced the pokeball containing one of her largest and heaviest pokemon. The lapras lands on the floor with a thud and neither it nor Isra seem particularly amused when the bird tries and fails to pick it up. Finding the large pokemon too difficult to lift. Eventually it lands its talons on the shedinja and lifts it with ease.

She whistles and the pokemon obeys, the lightning builds and strikes true. The sky is its home as much as the bird's. There is no way for either of them to escape each other's presence. The little bug in it's talons is, if she recalls right, if Alexei is right, bound to be left untouched by the crackling of electricity filling the air.

Regardless, Isra is eager to move on whichever way this challenge takes them.

Selena knew by experience that commanding a lended gyarados was a bad idea, especially since it was a creature, manifestion of pure rage. When Alexei told the group that the task was easy, she was the only one shaking her head in disapproval.

”I hope you’re right,” Selena sighed, throwing the gyarados’s ball into the arena where the braviry swooped to clutch its opponents from SKY DROP but only having the shedinja on its claws. “Gyarados, use TWISTER!”

The dragon-type only glared at her ‘new trainer’ and then to Alexei Ivanov before fulfilling the request of Selena.

GYARADOS uses TWISTER.

the plan seemed simple enough, don't get picked up and don't hit the shedinja that offered itself to be the bait. withdrawing a pokeball kazimir released a newest addition to his team; a dragonite that was all too happy to be out and about. once it was proven to be too heavy to carry by the large bird kaz gave it a pat on the back and pointed up to their flying foe. "bring him down, but don't hurt the little bug dude up there m'kay? a good twister outta do the trick."

with a flap of its wings the dragon summoned a powerful twister that flew up to the braviary to try and knock it out of the sky. the shedinja should be fine as it was immune to dragon type attacks, but even if it fell the group would be sure to catch it.

"AVOID THE TOXIC SPIKES!" the boy hits a hidden switch, and the tatami flooring unsheathes a field of TOXIC SPIKES. he smiles, hands on his hips, "CLEAN THEM UP FOR US, AND USE TWO ATTACKS THAT WILL POISON MY SALAZZLE!" he wags his finger, "MY SALAZZLE WILL ATTACK WITH TOXIC TOO, JUST TO JOIN IN ON THE FUN!"[break][break][break]

upon entering the next floor kazimir had to make sure that he watched where he was stepping as poisonous spikes littered the floor. "c'mon really?! hold on folks i think i have..." he knew he had a certain partner with him before even entering this place and from within his pants he withdrew a pokeball that opened up to release his braviary who flew over the spikes with no problem. "hey valiant! defog our little situation could ya?"

the bird followed his trainer's gesturing towards the spiked floor and began flapping his wings furiously to push them away and to the side all of a sudden with his powerful defog attack. despite the floor being safe now the bird still flew overhead ready to strike down the lizard that blocked their way should his trainer will it.

Thankfully the Shedinja, creepy little thing it was, had returned to him safe and sound and they were on to the next floor.[break][break]

The next floor looked deserted, at least until the next trainer made its appearance, before the floor turned a bright, noxious purple. Grinning at the Braviary that had used Defog to clear away the purple spikes scattered around the area, he had just the answer to this confounding riddle laid out before them.[break][break]

A few moments later his own Salazzle, Morgiana, hits the floorboards. Hissing at the sight of another Salazzle, Morgiana turned around to face Alexei. Itching to throw any attack out, he shook his head ever so slightly.[break][break]

“Look, I know you want to attack it with something else but you gotta listen to me just this once, okay? Toxic that Salazzle in front you. I swear I’ll get you better targets afterward, okay?”[break][break]

The Salazzle in his possession sighed, before taking a deep breath and releasing her own noxious mix of purple globules that reeked of nothing and promised utter death should they hit.[break][break]

Since the Salazzle was a Poison-type, well, this was bound to happen with Corrosion, right?
