The best part of being promoted might be the fact that Valerio could have more time exploring new places in the region now. He arrived at a damp cavern after scubadiving with his kingdra. The place was unknown but they were both willing to explore.

Inside, a squirtle can be seen paddling through the waters of the cavern. Why this turtle pokémon had this mysterious place as a comfort spot, the pair did not know. They continued exploring the area to find some more pokémon.

The loud screech made Valerio and Naua turn at the aource if the sound: a gastrodon taunting the pair for a battle. This place could be boring as hell, Valerio thought, but he realized he and the squirtle from before could entertain themselves together.

Deep into the seafloor cavern, the pair saw nothing but an extension of the Eastern Hoenn sea inside where a bunch of woopers were flailing, bouncing, and dancing. Valerio was a bit disappointed but he knew there could be something in here that he just needed to be patient with.
