Mauville City was as brimming with activity as Helen had expected it to be, which meant that there were plenty of trainers looking to prove something to anyone and everyone. She’d met a few young people who thought they could beat her – she’d also met a fair few creeps who thought they could pick her up. So far, neither had happened. Relaxing her shoulders, Helen looked at Slicer from across the square. “Alright, that’s another one down,” she said to him – he nodded back, then took a glance at the retreating opponent. She scanned the park for any more prospective challengers; hopefully, they wouldn’t be one of those creepy assholes. Helen had enough of those people. |
