Cove had strayed far by the time he realized just how far he and his pichu had gone. It was peaceful away from the hub-bub of home, and gave him clarity and space to think...though that opened up a whole different can of worms. Cove came from a troubled past and felt he had no way forward that didn’t include a heap more trouble. It was challenging at times--at least until the next big thing happened that reminded him why society needed a change, and a drastic one at that.

He came out of his thoughts as a small furry pichu hand bapped his cheek gently. He followed Meek’s other paw as he pointed towards the nearby beach and water. Cove had been wanting to grow his team. He enjoyed the pokemon he had now, but if he were to climb the ranks and get anywhere he felt a strong, well rounded team would get him there. ”Thanks bud.” He said quietly, ruffling the mouse pokemon between the ears as he wandered closer.
