● hoennian born and raised.[break]
● reckless and restless even as a toddler, skyler would drive her parents up the wall with her antics and her sudden disappearing acts. from the moment she could walk, she would sneak away to run across the glittering sands, searching for pretty rocks and playing in the surf. [break]
● it wasn't long before skyler was given a pokémon that could accompany her in these sometimes dangerous seaside trips and as she grew older she ventured deeper into the sea, learning to read its moods and whims, charting her own maps and inching her way to new shores.[break]
● eventually she bought a small boat and earned a diver's certification. by the time she left school she was taking steps to become a relic hunter, diving for all sorts of treasures - be it pearls or prism scales, remnants of ruins or strange underwater pokémon. there was business for all sorts of things.[break]
● skyler is deeply superstitious and wears a colorful beaded necklace around her neck, as well as a bracelet filled with good luck charms.[break]
● she is equally terrified of and fascinated by sea storms and while she doesn't think she wants to be caught up in one, something in her makes her hesitate whenever dark clouds gather in the horizon, daring her to answer to the challenge in the rolling darkened waves.[break][break]
