Patting the large Drapion on it's back Sebastian would then watch as Drapion went on into the facility, though confused as to why he couldn't go in he merely chalked it up to the folk not wanting their secrets to get out.

Wandering on in Klaw would then wait in the front lobby for a few moments, blankly glancing around until it was directing by a pair of assistants further into the facility. Eventually brought into a rather large medical room full of various machines pumping and winding while others beeped and chirped. Eventually strapped to a table for it's safety as well as the pharmacy folk's the Drapion would then have unique medical devices attached to both it's claws as well as it's body, it was time to extract some of it's poison as well as it's blood. It'd help to not only have the Pokemon's poison, but also it's blood due to the likely hood that it held some immunity if not outright to it's own poison.

Stormy's Salazzle is sent to sample her venom. So she sits pretty, poised, perfect on the countertop with her mouth agape as various doctors take samples of her perfectly poisonous venom. It drops into their test tubes and vials, some people scrub some of the oil from her skin. She's getting attention and that's all she cares about.[break][break]

Turns out she's a little bit too CORROSIVE at times, which requires the medical officials to wear hardier gloves and encourage her to be a little less potent. [break][break]

In the end, they ultimately take a sample of her blood as well to test. Like the Drapion before her, chances were her blood contained immunities. If they could replicate it in any way, they would have a better chance at furthering their medical studies. Whatever the case, she's doing a great job sitting pretty and perfect and poised and Stormy wouldn't have to worry about her for the afternoon.

[attr="class","spiral"] Among the two Salazzle is the much young Salandit. Comparing the two species of Pokemon is integral to their research even if they should be thematically the same. Evolution, as understood as it is, may hold some well kept secrets that pertain to just how much more effective their toxins become.

Fernando's Salandit remains rather lax, too lazy to do much aside from roll over when prompted. All the prodding and touching they do mean little to the Pokemon as long as they don't require it to do anything on its part. That being said, being CORROSIVE makes it much more challenging for the doctors than it does with the other poison Pokemon.

Yellow eyes widened and watched carefully as gentle hands prodded and rotated the Ekans, who was more than a little unnerved by this prospect, but it seemed the humans working on poison research and treatment had lots of experience working with the many frightening or disturbing poison-types. [break][break]

His blood was taken, a small amount that barely was worth noticing, and finally, the whole reason he was here quickly rose into importance. Poison. A wild Pokemon might have needed to be forced to give up it's venom, but Ormr was already aware of the task of today. As he was presented with the tube, he sprang forward and bit into the fabric on top. [break][break]

Kaida would be ok without him for one day, at least, she would have to be. The serpent sighed as another test tube came out, a sample of Acid Spray was next...

[attr="class","witness"]What, damn, fun! Abner'd dropped off the toxicroak because he'd get a quick buck back in return for the toxicroak being allowed to poison jab a bunch of containers. Not each punch gave the desired poison, but the ones that did, the toxicroak got praise for it.

Who knew he was such a diva? Tox was loving every second of the attention. Jab here, jab there, and he even produced a nice sludge bomb for the people and the amount of praise he got for it was a dream come true!

But as he came into the waiting room once they'd gotten enough of his venom, he saw the most beautiful salazzle in the whole world. Like a good boy, he gave her a very impressive belch... which... um... didn't go over well, so, day ruined.

For many of the pokemon, diluting their secretions was paramount to the success of the medical practitioners they were aiding in their development and refinement of certain drugs. Yet Weezing would play a different role as NEUTRALIZING GAS was sampled and analyzed to find the active components, allowin the researchers to counteract volatile, CORROSIVE substances trickier to reduce into a practical anesthetic... "W-weez-iiing..."

The potency of its POISON GAS was also something they looked into, trying to discern if its internal gas reservoir could be diluted into more than just high grade perfume, as was a common cultural practice. As they probed and prodded the Weezing, its poison gas leaked out abundantly, and they were able to siphon some of it for forensic analysis. All in all it wasn't overly optimistic to believe this too could be a source for anesthesia.

Most interestingly however was its CLEAR SMOG, which at first left researchers perplexed as to its possible active components and possible applications, as they watched a barely visible gas fill the room in a shimmering miasma. They would have to experiment with it longer before coming back with any meaningful results, but many seemed somewhat excitable at its prospects.

the audacity. what does she look like? some sort of poison factory? well... technically, yes, but no.

the toxapex grunts as doctors crowd her barbed limbs. each one has a vial in hand, multiple working on her instead of just one. perhaps it's because she's already swung more than once... do you blame her? they're poking and prodding and that's not fun. she can do that too, though, just definitely not as nice. a few have already had to be switched out, the previous ones leaving with scratches on their bodies and numb limbs. oops? illeana won't be happy but hey, that's what the rude ass gets for abandoning her here.

eventually, the doctors or nurses or whatever the hell they are all waddle off with their various vials. each one contains some toxapex toxins, not enough to do a wailord in but enough for whatever experiments they happen to be conducting. hm... she should've swung more. they left too clean and mobile.

the dragalge wasn't too interested in the whole thing. in fact, it was too relaxed that it finds itself sleeping in the corner of the room.

not that the doctors and the scientists for the sampling bothered much. it did made their job easier with a docile subject, and much more than that, safer. regardless, they still handled the situation carefully.

although the dragalge's poison wasn't as dangerous as a salazzle's, it's the fact that the ease of transmission through its poison point that makes it threatening. on the other hand, it is because of that that the scientists do not take long taking the samples of poison from it.

the procedure goes swimmingly fast, and as soon as they had more bottles of poison samples than they can use, they move out of where the dragalge slumbers.
