Another simple job, attempt to catch something for someone else in hopes of a good buy or equal trade.

It filled the time between doing missions for Team Rocket, for marie jules.

If he ever hoped to soar above being a simple Grunt Sebastian would need to remain on his toes, to keep improving instead of settling for less like so many did. Nonetheless simple jobs at least netted him something of worth typically, one way or another.

Presently it brought him to Route 116 in search of of particular dual-type Pokemon, though the job poster had also stated they weren't going to be overly picky as long as it was a new Pokemon to them. Like many places though the route was equally full of Pokemon and other people, so many targets.

Skyler was supposed to be delivering a parcel.

The backpack was a bit heavy, but she was used to hauling diving equipment for some distances, so it didn't overly bother her. There were many wild Pokémon in these parts, so Vox was out of his Pokéball, the single red eye in his head looking around lazily, just in case.

Despite being on a schedule, Skyler couldn't help but look around too. She'd never been this far inland as far as she could remember. Well, maybe Fortree. Still, she'd never been to this specific place before and couldn't help but take her sweet time to Rustboro. Especially since she'd gotten a bit lost. Actually, not only a bit. She was completely turned around ever since she left the tunnel.

'How do people navigate these forested areas?' Everything looked the same to her.

The route itself seemed as if it saw a lot of foot traffic, but it was strangely empty now save for a blond man. Maybe she could ask for some help?

"G'morning!" Determined, Skyler made her way to the man, a lopsided grin taking over her mouth. "Do you happen to know the way to Rustboro? I got turned around after the tunnel."

Wandering around would eventually do it's thing as it did in the Pokemon world, which was draw attention to oneself. Either he'd have wandered into someone or they him, it was an easy enough concept.

A perky, yet awkwardly strong looking girl would approach him, wishing him a good morning while also asking him directions. Sometimes Sebastian forgot how easily he tended to blend in with other League members even while hardly trying to keep his cover. He just seemed to be a natural. Regardless he was naturally a bit less aggressive than his Rocket peers.

Rustboro? Yeah, I was actually headed there, but I'm not headed there directly just yet, I'm doing some Pokemon searching at the moment...Actually...What's that over there....Hmmm.

Pulling out his old school style Poke Dex Sebastian would then proceed to scan a nearby Pokemon which ended up being a Komala, while visual confirmation of a second ensured him it was a Pokemon he already had, being Glameow.

Oooh, nothing of interest, I already have a Glameow and my trade partner doesn't want a normal type, heh...If you want you can tag along.

Skyler glanced at the Pokémon curiously, but didn't give them too much attention. She'd already seen her fair share of Pokémon while traversing the tunnel. She usually didn't deliver the parcels herself because it took too long, but she also had other business in the city.

"Hmm... Pokémon searching? Are you a trainer, then?" She didn't mind making conversation with this stranger, knowing from experience that if she tried to make her way to Rustboro by herself she'd end up lost. Again.

She was never going to go this far inland ever again.

"Are you looking for any type or species of Pokémon in particular? Maybe I could help you search?" And the quicker he found the Pokémon the quicker he would make his way to Rustboro with her in tow, which was perfectly fine with her.

As if suddenly remembering something, Skyler held out her hand and grinned. "Skyler Dross, by the way. Professional diver and treasure hunter." The grin on her face grew. "Seems only fair you know my name given that you're going to accompany me to Rustboro."

In a sense yes he was, but in all reality, no he was not.

Yeah I'm a part of the League that's right!

And the names' Harold and I'm looking for Psychic-Types I reckon....Woah, hold up there though...Up ahead, what's that?!

NO WAY!

Shifting from a leisure walk into a pause before then nearly lunging after his quarry Sebastian would take to swiftly engaging none other than an ESPURR. A Psychic-Type feline that Sebastian was actually after for himself, a blessing.

Come Maladi, use Flamethrower from afar and get close then use Fire Fang! Rush em' down!

Unblinking the matured Maladi would come storming in with jaws agape to spew hot flames forth at the wild Pokemon, blitzing forward only to slam it's jaws shut with it's attempted biting attack. Her precision and speed proving fruitful that day in injuring the Espurr which would in turn allow for Sebastian to capture it with a Poke Ball.

Scooping it up with a sneer Sebastian would then point on over to another nearby Pokemon...A Teddiursa?

Hey, there's a Teddiursa over there, cute and cuddly now, but they gorw into Ursaring which are monstrous!

Skyler peered at the blond man called Harold, who seemed very proud to be part of the League. She supposed it was considered an honor to be part of such an esteemed organization, but she usually didn't bother with those things. He seemed enthusiastic about it, and it was good to be passionate about something. She guessed.

"I... That's good, I suppose?" She didn't care one way or the other if he was part of the League. She just wanted someone to accompany her to the closest city.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden exclamation of Harold, which immediately alerted her. 'What, what's there?! Is it a landslide? A forest fire?What?!'

Skyler spun on her heels to face the sudden threat when she was faced with two small Pokémon. Oh. Talk about anticlimatic. She waited for Harold to finish his battle - presumably to capture the small cat-like Pokémon?

"Hmmm... yes, very interesting." She tried imagining a huge Ursaring in her small boat, but utterly failed. "I'm sure some lucky trainer will find them and train them."

Oh well then...Let's keep going...Up ahead though, there's more....heh.

Pushing the group further on into their adventure Sebastian would pause only to divert their path away from the Pokemon that drifted from the tall grass up ahead, they weren't worthwhile targets in his opinion. If his partner wanted to grab one he could wait, but until then nothing had yet to draw his attention save for his newest feline friend, the Espurr.

Skyler increasingly felt as if she were ten years old and was on her first Pokémon adventure, mostly because she was in foreign territory and because she'd never done one of those Pokémon journeys everyone talked about.

It was kind of fun, actually.

So when Harold ventured deeper into the unknown path, Skyler happily followed him -- she was ahead of schedule, and wouldn't pressure Harold into going to the city just yet.

They passed by two Pokémon and Harold didn't seem very interested in them; to be fair, either of those would do horribly in a boat. Although she wasn't exactly a trainer, Skyler did have some Pokéballs in hand just in case.

"You think we'll find any water types around here?" Skyler didn't think so, but she'd been surprised before.

Maladi go ahead and take a nap, let's give the new guy Wolf a chance to stretch for a bit...

Speaking to himself and his Pokemon Sebastian would return the Pyroar to her ball before calling out a new ally from a different contraption. Releasing a Blastoise this time Sebastian would sneer with glee at the sight of the behemoth.

Wolf stay on your toes big guy.

Directing his attention then to Skyler, Sebastian would take some time to imagine the thought of Water Types being nearby, but from what he recalled the route listed a host of other types instead sadly.

I don't think there are any Water Types actua....

Just as Sebastian was about to finish his statement the group would wander by a small pond, one where a Pidgeotto was attempting to fish out some lunch out of. This lunch happened to be none other than a Starmie however, blowing Sebastian's mind in the process. So there were Water Types.

Well, I'll be damned....Wolf, blast that Pidgeotto out of the sky with Flash Cannon followed up by Hydro Pump!

In the next few moments loud noises and powerful blasts would saturate the area as Blastoise indeed knocked the Normal Flying Type out of the air with his paired attacks. Proceeding to lob a Poke Ball after their target Sebastian hoped he was capable of replacing the Pidgeot he had lost.....

Woah, that Blastoise was really cool. Skyler had never seen one up close like that, but like any sailor she had an appreciation for water types and their capabilities. Her own Sirena had saved Skyler a couple of times from situations she wouldn't otherwise be able to escape from. She only managed to focus her attention somewhere else when Harold replied to her, saying that there probably wouldn't be any water types around.

Of course, that was right before they stumbled into a water type.

Skyler had to blink twice to make sure she was seeing things right. There was a very determined Pidgeotto trying to grab its lunch out of the water -- and that lunch just happened to be a Starmie. Skyler had seen a few Starmies in her dives, but mostly from a distance. They weren't easy to find in these waters, but they were gorgeous -- and Skyler wanted one for herself.

It took her a couple of seconds to react, but just as Harold did by her side, she seized the moment the man attacked the Pidgeotto to do the same thing, but to the Starmie. 'That poor Pokémon is just having one bad day, isn't it?'

"Vox, get that Starmie!"

The Dusknoir, which had previously been invisible as ghost types are wont to do, suddenly reappeared behind the Water type, a small ball of darkness in hand. He then rammed the SHADOW BALL against Starmie's tough exterior, the energy somehow piercing its shell.

Skyler was ready with a Pokéball in hand, and would throw it in Starmie's direction when it seemed weakened enough.
