Stormy rolls up with her fully-prepped Darmanitan. The sucker is huge and absolutely ready to knock this event clear off her shoulders. Or it's hinges, however the saying goes.[break][break]

Regardless, the Darmanitan beats her BELLY LIKE A DRUM, boosting her attack to the max it could possibly be. And then she barrels forward with Stormy hot on her heels.[break][break]

"Be careful, Lance!"[break][break]

And she winks at both of the girls with her as well, just because they deserved a confidence boost, too.[break][break]

a challenging obstacle course awaits them. lance stands at the ready with his kommo-o in the foreground. he cracks his knuckles and the dragon-type does the same. he takes a step forward and the dragon-type does the same. he turns to stormy and the dragon-type doe--[break][break]

"okay that's enough, kommo-o." [break][break]

the dragon-type giggles before slamming his tummy for a BELLY DRUM. the reduction of his health doesn't seem to affect his bubbly demeanor. lance charges forward then, keen to break through this obstacle course. kommo-o follows.[break][break]

This obstacle course certainly looked intimidating, but it was only as tough as one allowed themselves to perceive it as. It was her hope that it would certainly be easier with that mindset, at the very least. Stormy's wink certainly encouraged a chuckle from Ruby as she took a drink from her water bottle as her pokemon prepared themselves.

Cherry the Chesnaught was excitedly slamming its fists against its armored stomach as it prepared itself for this challenge with a Belly Drum, and Ruby couldn't help but smile at the sight. "Good luck everyone! We can do this!"

With that said, Ruby was quick to charge forwards through the obstacle with Cherry by her side. The extremely strong and armored pokemon slammed through a massive boulder in front of them, shoving the rocks to the side as trainer and pokemon charged through.

Skyler held on for dear life as her borrowed Galarian Darmanitan made its way to the starting line, taking her on its back. The long jumps and bumps had shaken her somewhat, but when she finally arrived there was a wild grin on her face.

"Thanks, buddy," she told the Darmanitan, sliding to the floor in a confusion of limbs, and then giving the three other people in her team an enthusiastic wave. Oh, who was that cute young girl? She'd have to introduce herself -- after, Skyler thought.

She checked to make sure her bandana was wrapped tightly around her forehead and repeated the process with Darmanitan. It had been a bit difficult to even find a bandana that could fit around the huge Pokémon, but Skyler hadn't liked those curtains anyway.

"Ready, guys?"

The Darmanitan prepared itself with a Belly Drum and Skyler shot forward, a mad grin overtaking her face as Darmanitan completely obliterated the first obstacle.
