He was so very tempted to say ‘Can you blame me for this,’ but knew that it was going to go down badly if he vocalized his thoughts. Maybe he was giving the other presence more precedence than he actually did? Also… Wait a second, hold up, what the hell? Did he just— he thought as he backtracked to what the Councilman was saying. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you, then,” was all he said before taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. Here Lars was, trying his hardest to rein it in, but now Fernando was telling him to do the opposite and basically let it all out? Well, then. Once he released the deep breath he had taken in, the other ‘presence’ then began to run… well, for lack of a better word, it began to encroach on the currently-present ice and began to spread out like—wildfire, so to speak. Only instead of fire, it was ice, but—well, one understood the point he was trying to drive across. The ice at his feet began to spread. Well, he did say ‘let go’, right? This was what exactly he was doing—the ice began spreading out like a frozen ripple from the point where he stood. The wind within grew colder; the ice thickening as it spread out, free rein— Wait, was he overdoing it? Most of the ice that was spreading was growing in an outward ‘defensive’ ring with him as the epicenter. The ice was attempting to avoid the Charizard that had emerged and was now accompanying the councilman—because ice and fire didn’t really mix well together. “Do you want me to stop? Or keep going?” he muttered a few moments later as he looked around and estimated that the layers of ice were—definitely thicker than what Articuno had conjured up the last time it was around.
