Shrugging, he pulled out a Pokéball at random and sent his Swampert forward. Right at the moment the dual-type hit the ground, the Magmar suddenly cranked up the light three-fold; it was a Sunny Day! Blinking a few moments due to the sudden flash of light, the Swampert then took aim before clapping her fists together.

“Whoa, you better not do—“ he began before an Earthquake shook the area!

“…that,” he grumbled a few moments later as he felt his balance go all wobbly and off-center. Sighing, he watched and waited for his chance to swoop in. The Magmar, shaken but emboldened, released a Lava Plume that headed right their way.

A last-minute avalanche of Rock Slide managed to stave off the incoming flames, before another Earthquake ripped through the area. The stone ‘barrier’ that had shielded them from the Fire-type attack tumbled and fell, before crashing down and around the startled Magmar as it fell onto its belly.

“Really?” was all he could say before throwing a Pokéball at the Magmar.
