The crowd cheered as this motley crew of boy band-esque trainers took to their starting positions. Remiel had written them in as 'Team Kydolane' prior to beginning the challenge. But the particularly creative fans in the crowd seemed content to give them a different team name: The Badstreet Boys. He almost rolled his eyes when he saw a preteen girl waving a banner, with the name written poorly in permanent marker, at them. But then he wondered whether he was the 'quiet one' in the group.[break][break]

Tonks, in the meantime, pounded at his chest with a BELLY DRUM as he stared ahead. Remiel took a deep breath through his nostrils and slowly exhaled, endeavoring to focus as much as his Kommo-o. Turning briefly to his teammates, he nodded. "We go at this with force. All or nothing. That's how we win." It's then that the starting bell rings, and Tonks charges forward with great strides. The first obstacle in their way, a line-up of wooden barrels, is met with the destructive tackle of the noisily-scaled dragon. They're knocked aside like bowling pins.[break][break]

So apparently his Meditite was a sadist… not too mention potentially a masochist, too.

Who knew that she would enjoy wrecking things with wanton longing?! What the hell!

Majority of his own Pokémon knew how to ‘keep it in’, but clearly this didn’t apply to her.

So that’s a no on some of the other softer feminine names… she needs something… powerful. Yeah, powerful, let’s go with that, he thought as he got her ready, out and about again floating around—and there was the starting pistol.

Wait, what—what the hell kind of name is that? The Badstreet Boys? He continued in the back of his mind as the Meditite then saw what the Kommo-o was doing, imitating what it had done by using Psych Up.

Time to wreck shit, and get hit.

dominic sinclair does not know why he is here. he hears camera shutters going off and tries to place kyle between himself and the crowd.

"what the fuck," he murmurs under his breath, clutching the sylveon closer to his chest for a moment. the sylveon flexes its little ribbon appendages reassuringly when dominic places it down next to the pokemon of his teammates.

"just keep following them," dominic says, uncertain. the order prompts the sylveon to PSYCH UP and follow the other pokemon, hurtling through barrels and obstacles with strength exceeding its own.

Prepubescent teens shriek loudly in support of the 'Badstreet Boys' and their endeavor. Even the sound of smashing, ripping, and tearing isn't enough to drown out these horrible shrieks as Tonks rampages his way through the obstacles. Everything from bundles of hay, wooden barrels, sandbags, and old tires have been dumped before them to impede their way.[break][break]

In the disheveled path laid bare behind the vicious Kommo-o, Remiel is sure to keep up. He's used to being noticed in public. His face had been plastered on the cover of tabloid magazines far more than he would have liked. But this was just ridiculous.[break][break]

Lars had to blink a few moments before realizing that he was with Kyle, who didn’t look pleased at the sight (and the sound) of those… girls. Screaming their heads off.

He could only scratch his head out of sheer… he couldn’t even describe the situation at this point, honestly!

“Go on, do your shit,” he said in the Meditite’s direction, who let out a cackle of glee before charging up an Force Palm strike and sending it flying towards a stack of haphazardly-assembled planks.

Some excuse for an obstacle, as the planks were obliterated in a single strike.

On they went!

having been PSYCHED UP, the sylveon's flurry of QUICK ATTACKS upon the obstacles comes swiftly and with a bizarre power behind them. dominic follows along behind his pokemon, and after a while, the physical exertion required to keep up distracted him from the screaming. it was nice.

A gang of Machoke carrying foam bats attempt to stand in their way during the next stretch. Tonks seems excited to be fending off actual opponents rather than inanimate objects. So, with nothing more than a wave forward, Remiel sends him off to handle them.[break][break]

They attack. They whack. And they desperately try to fend off the large raptor. But nothing can stop his onslaught of DRAGON CLAW as he roars and casts them aside like the hay stacks, tires, and wooden barrels before them. Remiel, in the meantime, is careful not to be buried beneath any of these briefly airborne Machoke.[break][break]

Hilariously, Lars had yet to lose his temper with the screaming going on in the background.

He wondered why that was so, and chuckled softly. Of course he couldn’t keep the cold ‘aura’ emitting from his person under wraps as much as he wanted to, which was why he was taking his sweet ass time behind the other three members of the ‘Badstreet Boys’.

Chuckling, a herd of what appeared to be Gurdurr came sauntering in and just left… a large pile… of umbrellas right where the Meditite was headed.

“Do I even have to tell you what to do?” he chuckled as he watched the Meditite charge up another Force Palm and sent the umbrellas flying in a myriad of directions, some popping open from the force and looking like fireworks… that had long sticks.

Wow.

the PSYCH UP still hasn't worn off, somehow. dominic's eyes widen when a group of machoke are pitted against them, but it seems remiel's pokemon make quick work of them. his sylveon contributes a few smacks of its own with its ribbons and dominic tries to not think about the way those appendages move because it's honestly kind of weird.

he is so tired of moving.
