even before groudon, matias silph thought himself a god—he felt untouchable, invincible—he felt important, as though the world revolved around him and every action he took would only empower him.[break][break]

this isn't exactly news to matias; Melody Miro had informed him about the plan and what he's needed from him; but the actual scale of what's required is certainly new. it makes him laugh, despite it all.[break][break]
