Shin hadn't gotten a chance to stretch his legs yet today, Ping also seemed eager for a fight, and Half-Moon was fresh enough she might as well ask about the full trio getting a chance.

As the icicles crashed down, for a moment it seemed like Biff had survived, his claws still outstretched to drain his opponent once more. But as the mist from the point of impact drifted away, it became clear that the Paras had fainted in that position, just shy of reaching his goal.[break][break]
Cardamom let out a breath she hadn't realized he was holding, recalling Biff and walking up to extend a hand to shake. "Well, that was a close one!" she said. "And man, these platforms really do hold up well, don't they?"

Hurrying onwards, the Scatterbug seemed to have shifted her grip on the baton, now holding it somewhat awkwardly in her front legs. It soon became clear what she was trying to do as she neared another tree with a convenient overhanging branch, a String Shot spitting out and hitting said branch before she used it to propel herself onwards faster, even closer to the finish line.

"It is!" agreed Cardamom, a smile on her face. "Come on, Giga Drain again!" It all came down to whether or not this move could take down the Cloyster, she thought even as Biff raised his claws and the mushrooms on his back plumped up, beginning to try and drain life from their opponent.

"Giga Drain!" called Cardamom. Even as the Gyarados' teeth were about to close down on him, the Paras raised both claws to jab them into his opponent, draining energy from it as fast as he could, hopefully enough to offset the damage. He knew that it was unlikely he could win against two fully evolved Pokemon, but he still wanted to try and fight back the best he could.

It didn't seem like there were any referees around to jump out of the woodwork and cry foul, so Cardamom let that pass. Of course, the next attack hit much harder, the crashing ice hitting hard enough to bring the Tropius down, leafy wings frosted over. Hissing, Cardamom rotated her last combatant into view-the finally thawed Biff. Shaking off the droplets of water, he frowned at his opponent before sending another Spore cloud forwards, trying to put this troublesome oyster to bed.

Oh fuck, there was the Flying-type move. With both of them in midair, there was no way for Bam to dodge. She flailed as they fell downwards, trying to smack at her opponent for each peck and nip she was given, but the combination of type advantage and boosted damage meant that she was the first to fall unconscious, Cardamom quickly recalling her in midair.[break][break]
"Well, that was pretty impressive," she admitted with a weak smile. "You pretty much had us on the ropes the whole time once you started actually attacking."

Bam snarled as her opponent flew out of reach, tail twitching behind her as it glared down at her, making her legs feel leaden and her reactions slowed. Cardamom let out a similar hiss of worry, before calling out a "Quick Attack!" The Riolu crouched down, before lunging into the air in a semivisible blur, trying to smack at the Rookidee like a feathery volleyball and bring it back down to the ground.

Cardamom's first thought was, Well, at least it wasn't a Flying-type move. On the other hand, the move still had a lot of extra power behind it, and even Bam's natural resistance against Dark-type attacks could only do so much. Still, that meant they had more of a strategy now. "Counter!" she called, almost unnecessarily, as the Riolu was already spreading her arms wide to let the strike hit her, barely even wincing before slamming her paws forward to return the damage twicefold. She panted hard, ears flicking as she studied the scene to see if her opponent was still standing.

Bam glared back at the Rookidee even as its eyes bored into her, waiting to unleash whatever move it had in store. Growling, she darted forwards again, continuing to slash at her opponent with another Metal Claw. Cardamom found herself clenching her own fist, fingernails digging into her palm. It seemed like everything was going to ride on how hard that attack hit once the Rookidee did act...

Well, that was one worrisome Ice-type attack out of the way. Banana Bread's bulk meant that the Hyper Beam wasn't as damaging as it might have been to one of his smaller teammates, but it did still leave steam rising off his body where it hurt. He snorted as he stared down at the Gyarados, before turning his head back towards Cardamom, as if asking for permission. She blinked, then nodded. "Full steam ahead!" she declared.[break][break]
Banana Bread turned back towards his opponents, and with a ponderous roar charged forwards, ready to Body Slam the Gyarados into the ground...hopefully, the platform would hold up even against that.

Well, it still wasn't an attack. Bam's ears twitched as she tried to ignore the taunting, but it soon became clear that it wasn't working as she clenched a fist by her side. Cardamom quickly called out to try and divert her from the anger. "Remember, use Metal Claw!" she called. Bam uncurled the fist, but only to slash it forwards, clawing at the cheeky bird as hard as she could.

Coconut stood strong, refusing to bow in the face of the Blizzard even as it took her out. Cardamom withdrew her, hearing the whirring of the platform's internal gyroscopes as it compensated for the loss of weight on one side. Well-there was no avoiding it. Time to bring in the big guys. Banana Bread was finally rotated in, snorting as he looked on at the competition. Without even needing a command, he raised both his wings and started flapping, leaves gathering around to surround the opposing platform in a Leaf Tornado.

Eventually, Coconut's healing would no longer be able to keep up with her opponents' super-effective damage. She was swaying on her hooves now, looking less and less steady by the moment. However, she pawed at the platform nonetheless, still determined to to her best to the bitter end. "Leave them something to remember you by!" called Cardamom. Coconut nodded in understanding, firing off one last Leech Seed in hopes of leaving a lasting mark on this opponent as well.
