There was something therapeutic about making something something dirty clean and with the help of his SCREEN CLEANER ability there was almost no specks of dust to be seen. [break][break]

At least until one car seemed to have a speck that just wouldn't go away. No matter how much the Mr. Rime wiped it, a spray and a wipe. Nothing. Another Spray and wipe and nothing. After a few minutes the customer tried to get out of their car to tell him it was fine before Mr. Rime gave them a look[break][break]

They were not allowed to leave until it was clean and that was final. And the customer was too afraid to tell the Mr. Rime otherwise. So they just stood in the car for the rest of the day. Having to call their boss about being late because of a crazy Mr. Rime.

A nice enough night for a game with a few people, some were random, while others he actually felt their company would be enjoyed for the game. He knows he's invited Cillian Quinn for plenty of games in the past. And for now he's hoping to make some new connections for the Rocket here in Hoenn. Calling ahead for virgil roach for a table Pryde takes a seat and orders a whisky as he starts shuffling a pack of cards he made sure to bring as those he had called finally gathered. The scared man gives a friendly enough smile, one passible enough to give the indication that he was happy to see the group. [break][break]

"Feel free to pick a seat," he shows gestures to the table he's sitting at as he still plays around with the cards. "I believe most of know one another, but as a just in case as we are in public in some sense I am Lloyd Kvar," he introduces himself as he deals two cards to each person. [break][break]

"I trust you all know how to play?" he doubts, but he can be hopeful.[break][break]

  + BLUFFING takes place when your character starts the bet, or is trying to raise. [break]
  + INSIGHT is when you're tying to read a bluffing character. See if you can tell if they're telling the truth, or if they're a lying sack of shit. [break]
  + Rolls when it comes to your Rolls only the second number counts. So if you roll a 43 you only take the 3. If you roll a 29, you take the 9.

• All characters have a modifier they can add to either their Bluffing or their Insight checks.
  
  + Modifiers must be added before your roll. [break]
  + All points are for the game, so if you use all of your points the first round you will have none for the rest of the game.[break]+ Most characters start off with 5pts, if character has history of playing a game of poker in the past they get 8pts[break]

As if seeing the hunger in their eyes an Oshawatt comes to the scene to try and fight off the stranger metal poekmon. THe previous one fleeing for it's life. It attempts to strike with a RAZOR SHELL to which Meltan uses ACID ARMOR to help defense against it. As the shall comes at him Pryde gives a familiar whistle before calling for a THUNDERBOLT. Eventually they fall and become paralyzed this time though Pryde uses a safariball to capture the oshawott, figuring it could be useful for later.

There seems to be a pout from the steel type, but after an intimidating glare from Pryde it decides to listen. Waiting until they found the bell pokemon. Meltan looks back and pryde gives a whistle before calling for a THUNDER WAVE. Paralyzed and down with a THUNDERBOLT Pryde calls for them to move on. [Break][break]

Though the meltan does go close to the bell to poke at it. Pondering if the metal from it were tasty.

Its decided that the Meltan he has acquired is in need of more field study. Especially since Walsh has mentioned they will want to be make their way toward the tree soon enough and study in the labs show that the creature has potential. The question is just how far could it go. The small blob of metal seems to rub it's stomach as if asking for food. Pryde just looks unimpressed, "Preform well and you might get a decent meal," he tells it before the walks through the safari to add more to his collection.

"And well my team and I were will prepared," he gives the ranger a sad smile as he tells the synopsis of his backstory. Because clearly its not something anyone would want to dwell in to deeply into. "Fair enough," though he keeps his thoughts to himself about how the wailord should be left to rot. So for now he watches as the flower pokemon came out for possible healing. As she gives her little lesson Pryde sees the glow from the hole the steelix created before the wail starts to move. Interesting tactic, probably didn't do to well for the soft sand. He looks to his Lucario to make sure they were capturing the enegy reading. As he doubts he'll ever have a 'relationship' with any of his pokemon. [break][break]

"I'm still somewhat new to Hoenn, and from what ive come to understand Mega Evolution has only been around for a few years, and well sadly I've been lost in the woods for several years, so I'm a tad out of touch with society for a moment" he chuckles at that, lying easily but it was the story around his character.

'LLoyd' just nods, "Interesting interesting, and you fear not for how weaken it is already?" the scientist ask with curiosity as he knows that if htis thing really were at full health it might be able to get itself back into the water. "Mega Evolution huh? A powerful utility, sadly I'm a bit unfamiliar with it," he admits but he turns to his lucario and gives a signal. The canine turning the helmet his master made on to be sure to record the way the power and aura fluctuate.

Seem like the whale's rescuer has arrived, the officer simply nods in thanks and does as instructed of making sure there wasn't much of a crowd. Meanwhile Pryde comes out from the other side of the Wailord and gives the Ranger a smile. "Morning," he greets with a friendly tone that matched the smile on his scared face, "I'm Dr. Lloyd Kvar," he gives a small nod in greeting, "I hope you don't mind, I already ask the young officer if I could stay on the scene and she seemed fine with it"[break][break]

This apparently happened now and then. Some wailord would get over ambitious in their outings. Play themselves a game too close to shore. It was pathetic really, and in his opinion this was nature's way of weeding out the weak. Though apparently other plans were being made as Rangers had already been called him. Meanwhile Lloyd made the case of the officer in charge on how he was a scientist and would like to observe and as simple as that he was allowed to stay.

While some scientist seem to be in a panic about whatever it was, another yelling about who the hell was responsible. Pryde lived for the thrill as it was shit like this that made it feel like his blood was pumping. Rather than trying to get away Raphael goes for a pokeball and rushes toward the danger. Calling on a trusted pokemon of his home region in the form of Frogadier. [break][break]

With a combination of the foam on it's neck and water gun they're able to keep the fire under control until another came in to assist. There is a sigh when its all done. He'll hid the hint of disappointment now that it was over. No need others to think he set it up this is when one of the oldest men in the room pops up. One who he recognizes as the man he was originally suppose to meet. [break][break]

"Yes sir," He answers back as he gets to attention to make sure to keep respectful. Something his girlfriend kept telling him to do if he didn't want any trouble. [break][break]

"Hmph... I'll be expecting more than just a clean up as the days go on" With that Hargroove starts yelling at his men to try and figure out who was responsible. As well as get the mess cleaned up.
