All Pryde does does for now is record a bit, noting the way the tree attempted to defend itself from them, even going so far as to make a password to open. Like it was some child gatekeeping others from getting into their tree house. At the very least they have many lively troops willing to just wildly throw themselves into the danger without thinking. At least they're all able to get it open eventually and Pryde also moves in choosing not to team up with anyone for now as it's crowded enough as it is and he prefers to study without others interrupting him. The scientist gives a hum of thought at the bamboo forest they find their group in. At the growlith he studies the statue finding it to be quite interesting as this appeared to be a variant of some kind. A statue giving off a fortune of death.[break][break]

Another time of the week to make adjustments and analyze the new metals that came out from last time. Another sacrifice to make, this time by the generous Remi Cassel. Sadly he didn't have as much time to talk with this week's donator he was always thankful for the fodder as it meant he didn't have to waste time trying to find his own pokemon to melt down. Noting the difference in temperatures the first time around compared to the much better example of last time. Pryde makes sure to have his Heatran adjust the heat in comparison. Depositing the togedemaru into the dispenser and waiting for the sparks and cries to end before it's materials would hopefully melt down proper for better samples.

Eris is struggling yet she shouldn't. She doesn't know, they have no beef with her and she shouldn't be here. There is a shadow that appears in front of her. As if trying to block her but it doesn't have solid only a crying mask. [break][break]

And the shadow sinks back into the ground while what seems like metal blades come down at Pryde and once again the defensive procedures force his arm to move and defend him. The SHADOW BALL used against the offender seems to make the shadow disappear. Attacks stop as Eris comes to Pryde's side. "Yeah or something..." he comments before a mask appears from the ground of a crying man. The shadow taking shape at first seeming into that of a Yamask before it glows, warps and grows. Once more her question goes on deaf hears as there were other things going on that needed dealing with. There feels like there is a creek in his bones. Pryde groaning somewhat as he was sure somewhere in the multiverse there was a version of him that didn't feel as old and could keep up as easily as the champion could with his pokemon. Though Froslass doesn't have the seem issue as she follows not far behind, watching as the ROCK SMASH struck that of a Scyther. [break][break]

Though bug would try to struggle to get the dog off him but with a well placed FROSS BREATH to keep it stiff it could barely move. Pryde using a pokeball to captured the down bug. As the pokeball shifts Pryde just gives the other a tired huff and a nod, "Hope you don't mind, could always use something fast to later"

While the child does come at a slight surprise he also knows that she isn't what has been following him.
