HISUIAN BRAVIARY - PSYCHOKINETIC PYROTECHNICS (PSYCHIC)
Hisuian Braviary uses its Psychic power to attack a single target with pyrotechnics, setting the area around the target aflame to inflict a potent BURN upon all those nearby. The attack generates a PSYCHIC TERRAIN. Once this occurs, the user also becomes BURNED.

MILOTIC - NAIAD'S NATURE (WATER)
Milotic releases a wave of energy that calms the target, causing them to lose their desire to fight. Any attempt to attack will result in the affected pokémon HARMING ITSELF instead. The effect lasts for a brief period of time.

BLASTOISE - DEVASTATING DRACIEL (NORMAL - RAPID SPIN)
Blastoise retreats into its shell, spinning at incredible speed and leaving devastation in its wake. This move removes all ENTRY HAZARDS and TERRAINS.

Just as Razz has matters he’d rather not disclose, Mars finds himself thinking of what Velmos had claimed lies hidden beneath Littleroot. He highly doubts this “invasive pokémon” has anything to do with the unknown energy the Megalopolans had supposedly detected beneath the town, but if it somehow were connected, it also wouldn’t be a surprise.

There’s little that surprises him these days.

”Our pokémon? Sure, you think we should hide from it?”

It makes sense, and ultimately, anything his Unown sees will be seen by him as well. Not that Razz knows this, of course.

The Unown makes a chirping sound, rising in the air once more and looking at Mars. He can see himself through the symbol’s gaze, but thankfully, he has begun to grow used to this connection between them.

It had been way too easy to convince the farmers that he’s looking out for them when most people barely acknowledge their situation. In reality, though? If this is a rare pokémon like he suspects, then he’d sure like to keep it for himself.

The world is fucking ending. Naturally, that causes a certain amount of chaos all over the region. People acting up, pokémon acting up, etc. So, with everything currently going on, the article about this had been so small that most people probably hadn’t noticed it at all…

The saddest part of it all may just be that as soon as the Ursaluna is about to reach its meal, it disappears as if it had never been there to begin with. Only the destruction left behind exists as a sign of its fleeting presence. It makes Mars think of all the dimensions he has been transported to and then left, leaving behind only signs of his presence. As far as he knows, there’s at least four or five of them.

”Yeah? I’ll keep you in mind, then.” That one does manage to get a smile out of him, because Mars agrees: for all of its danger, Ultra Space also sounds interesting. A place he’d like to see one day.

With this thought in mind, he too continues to enjoy his yakitori, watching the distortion fade around them. There’s no reason to leave until they finish their meal. Afterwards, once it’s all said and done, both him and Zev can just go on about their days as if nothing had just happened. Truly business as usual.

The explanation is given calmly before taking a bite from the delightful yet still slightly burnt yakitori. He finds a seat, because Mars cares little for eating while walking. Lulu Flint and him may not be the greatest of friends (they’re reluctantly cordial, if anything), but he will always respect her as a scientist. She truly is one of the most brilliant people he’s ever met.

The cost of repairs may just be one of the biggest problems with being a business owner in Hoenn… or owner of any property in general. Mars remembers the countless meetings about the damage Ultra Beasts had caused the bank’s branches. At the time it had been annoying, but these days it’s among the things he had come to expect.

”I could approve a loan if that’s what you’re asking for.” He winks, always the banker. He’s teasing, obviously.

The topic shifts to food in the most casual of ways, and accordingly so, Mars teleports down to the street as if it were the simplest thing in the world. His Unown dutifully follow.

It’s then that he whistles a single note, causing one of the symbols to break from the pack and use its HIDDEN POWER on the Kleavor. This time, the attack shows itself as a pressurised stream of water that seems to be enough for the Axe Pokémon to stay away.

”Would you do it if you could, by the way? Go to Ultra Space?” The question is asked casually while grabbing himself some freshly grilled yakitori – a little burned by now, but it'll do. He actually leaves the appropriate amount of money on the stall too.
