He snorted. "You really don't like your own type of people, do you?" he asked referring to more so the richness of it all. But that was summer's business he supposed. He didn't exactly know her all that well to begin with. His conversation with her had only happened twice before, and they'd always been short. Still, she seemed willing to open up. Or, at the very least, she seemed willing to put up with him for a few hours. [break][break]

It had sounded like she needed a distraction, and Andres didn't at all mind being just that for her. Everyone needed a little distraction every once in a while. The touching was probably the alcohol, but he wasn't complaining. He flashed yet another grin as he took her by the hand and led her deeper into the lounge bar. "I know a few things about dancing, you?" He thanked the Gods for his foresight in attending some basic dance classes in university. At least that way he could dance without embarrassing himself at any function. [break][break]

"Hopefully, it'll entertain~" he said as he held up her hand to lead, placing the other at her waist. The music was typical jazz lounge affair. Slow, steady, a wee bit sultry. It makes it hard to show off. But he goes along with it. Until they pass close enough to the band for him to quietly request something more exciting. But before he does he dares ask Summer, "You comfortable like this? Or wanna try something else?"

Oh boy- He didn't like the way Onyx addressed him. All he said was 'you' but it felt way more personal. The man could hold a grudge...but then again so could Andres. Was it a grudge? Or more- memories. Yeah. Memories and regrets. He can't help shrink under his glare even when he was the bigger person, literally. "I-I uh- I wasn't-" he stopped himself form bringing up the other day. They wouldn't speak of that. Not if he wanted to avoid the same fate. His eyes ducked down at his shoes. Meanwhile Pepino missed the venom in Onyx's tone completely, crawling out of the kid's seat and dropping on top of a pack of toilet paper before sniffing over at the Rocket and then wagging his tail at the Wigglytuff. He looked like he was considering jumping as he slowly climbed over to the edge of the shopped cart and had all paws precariously cling to the cart. Though towards the inside of Onyx's cart, or his partner no one could be sure unless he was stopped. [break][break]

Andres was never the best at hiding his emotions. Even now. As much as he would like to deny it, the man's words stung. He had just been passing through. "I...I needed re-refills..." he offered dejectedly, eyebrows knitting together as he frowned. Protein powder. He was still cutting a bit but it'd be bulk season soon enough. And these were good deals. "Um- S-Sorry for your bad day...?" he's less nervous here than out in the woods but that was probably because of the perceived security being around a public area granted him. Even so, he didn't want to give Onyx a reason to confront him later. "Oh- uh- sorry to you too?" he added looking down at the Wigglytuff.[break][break]

"Oh- That's Pepino!" he added, introducing the pup as it barked up at Onyx having taken the opportunity to tumble into the grunt's cart. "He- uh- He's friendlier than Chu-Chuchi, promise!" he said as he began carefully maneuvering his cart out of the way so he could scoop the Zigzagoon back out. Not before the normal type snuck in a lick at his face.

Pepino barked softly as he sat in the child's seat of the grocery cart as Andres moved them through Pokefoods as Andres trolled along for the discount items. Mainly the protein powder and energy drinks. He didn't often come out considering the price tags, but the selection for health nut product was vast. Pepino is well behaved, mostly gobbling up the free samples that were offered to Andres. [break][break]

Andres pat her, softly chiding the Zigzagoon for overeating. "You're gonna get a stomach ache." he said with a laugh before turning the corner, before knocking his cart onto another customer's. "Oh- Sorry!" he blurted out, Pepino barked happily looking over at the stranger, smiling excitedly. Andres' surprise quickly morphed into shock, and then he slowly went pale. "Onyx-! I- Uhh- Um- N-Nice to see you. Again."

The children cheer for the obese Eevee, some even pulling out treats. Kids floods the pitch moving over to the Buneary as well for 'good job' pats. Andres laughed approaching Greyson to give him a clap on the shoulder. "Thanks for volunteering. Stick around. She's in their hands now." he said as he gestured towards his students who were crowding around both normal types.

He pulled out his phone, opening up a small app for reward points. As if it wasn't obvious enough he was a frequent customers. "Oh? Sure Andres, got out a lot and took people to different places, but he tried them out by himself just as often. Once in a while, he needed a day to just do things he wanted to do. Or well, him and Chuchi. "Are you new in town? I can give you some more recommendations for places like this." he offered, smiling excitedly.

Chuchi is clamped on tight at the first punch. Second or third, especially in the snoot? She's forced to let go like a shark releasing its prey. Despite herself the fat Eevee dropped to the ground and put paws on her snout as she recoiled in pain. "Are you done?!" Andres asked, hands over a pokeball to call her back. She shook herself before going in for another DOUBLE EDGE, though perhaps her condition was better explained by the fact that she initially went the wrong way before turning to face Jess and charging.

Andres absolutely did not even think Casey had died. That was nowhere in his realm of possibility. Perhaps he was too optimistic but it would never cross his mind.

He'd always been told one shouldn't drink alone when they were upset. Guess he'd miss out on a good tip tonight. "Well...I suppose you're easier to talk to than them." he said with a laugh. Most of the time with women like the ones he'd been accompanying, if they weren't gossiping they were talking about money matters and Andres couldn't relate. So most of the time he was simply pretty and quiet. And that was enough for them. [break][break]

"You're not wrong." he said flashing a grin before blushing a little as she grabbed his jaw lightly. He can smell the alcohol on her breath, and he's sure she can do the same with him. "Far be it for me to abandon a lady who requests me." he said before turning towards his patrons. He gave them a light wave and a wink before turning to his drink and knocking it back without a second thought. [break][break]

He grinned as Aster ordered the same as Chuchi, automatically upping his impression of himself in her eyes. She bounced excitedly in circles as she spotted their order coming towards them. And when it's placed on the table, she's polite, sitting still with her back straight, big brown eyes on Andres as he carefully set down her dessert and pulled away his hand. She's waiting on him. "Say thanks." She got up barking at Aster and headbutting his leg before going back to her overly decorated cup and shoving her face into the whipped cream. Andres did the same, though more gracefully. He's hungry after the run and the trash. [break][break]

"Uhh, well, I'm a personal trainer for a local gym here." he began as he licked a bit of cream cheese off his thumb. "But my main hustle is teaching kids at the local battle school here." he explained before, without missing a beat at the next question. "Libra sun, Gemini moon, and Aquarius rising."

His apologies are not just for Onyx, but Ziadem as well. Though, he can only wonder what his bully's partner thought of him after the weird history they had. Still, he's partially surprised and very relieved the bit of defiance hadn't earned him or his partner a harsher punishment. Chuchi was hurt, yes, but at least it had been a fair fight. At least he'd gotten her back before Zia could carve into her flesh once more.

He's startled by the Corviknight's laughing and even yelped when she flew so low she almost grazed the tips of his hair. But she settled next to her trainer. And as Onyx moved up, staring at him, his foot moved back the flight instinct from so long ago kicking in again. Onyx is calm, unbothered by the sight of fighting and the people behind him. Being responsible, he supposed he didn't care too much. But still. To Andres, that calm, the stillness in his demeanor and movements is akin to a calm before the storm and he doesn't want to be next. He'd been beaten before, but nothing ever like what lay directly behind his old classmate. "Y-Yeah!! Sure!!" he said. This day would go to the grave with him. He'd seen nothing, he knew nothing. "I'm no s-snitch." he said, a phrase that had been ingrained into him years ago. Running away and denying everything had always been easier. He couldn't' bear the consequences of confronting Onyx or his friends. [break][break]

His body can't handle the grip of so many memories charged with so much emotion. A couple of tears drop to the ground as Onyx turned away from him. He's so fucked. His back is to him. He can't see him crying, but the harsh way he gasped for breath after hesitating for only a moment is probably a dead giveaway. Takis takes after him a few seconds after trailing behind as he cast a wary eye on Zia and then her trainer. [break][break]

He only looks back once, face wet and terrified. He still can't believe it. After all these years. A pained look at Onyx and he's gone, frustrated and scared. Onyx wasn't the only one who hadn't changed. [break][break]

After all these years Andres is still just as pathetic as then.
