“Perfect.” A perfect end to a perfect day. He’s more than pleased really. People could argue in circles that the chase was always the most fun of these kinds of things but sometimes Andres didn’t want to chase. Sometimes Andres was alright with hanging out with someone that matched his energy. As he led her through the street to their destination, he slowed to a stop deeming it a good enough time as any. “Oh, before I forget, the other part of your prize!” he said as if he really had almost forgotten. Unashamedly, leaning Spencer against a telephone pole, he tilted up her chin slightly before leaning down a for a slow kiss.

No tongue. That could wait till later. And judging by how well this was going, he was sure he’d have more than his fair share of kisses tonight. He pulled away after a few seconds, grinning at her before adding, “We can call that…mmm… a taste of dessert.” He stated, before taking her into the restaurant.

It seemed the girl wasn’t buying anything he was selling. Before he can even get a name, she’s just quiet and smiley. It’s almost unnerving for a brief second, he thought he was going to get kicked in the gut or something. Fortunately, he avoided that fate. Instead, he only grinned happily, quick to nod before the girl pulled her phone out. “Oh, we’re exchanging phone numbers?” he asked a little too soon before she flashed the screen at him.

She was willing to call his bluff. Fuck. Well, it wasn’t like he was too keen on listening though. “You could.” He said, not breaking a sweat just yet. “Or you could hang out with me a little longer and I could take you to get something to eat on your break?” he said, pulling out his own phone. He was quick to type something in before flashing his own screen. “There’s this really good crepe place nearby, and I got a craving, Tesoro.” He said unfazed by Zahra’s attitude.

We’ve been at this all morning!” the blonde complained, face red with exertion, and sweating despite the cold and the weird snow Hoenn had gotten. “Are you still mad about that lady picking you up?! You left with her! Willingly!!” he added before the Eevee barked up at him.

Chuchi, unable to hit her target skid to a stop. She just barely kept herself form flipping forward from the momentum before turning to look up at the Buneary. A bit disoriented, the Eevee managed to look up just in time to catch the rabbit pokemon slamming into her face and knocking her back even further. “Pick yourself back up and use Double Edge!” Andres called out.

The normal type shook her head, sneezing a bit form the dirt that had gotten on her face before her eyes locked onto Jess and she took off like a shot. Like a full body haymaker, Chuchi launched herself at the Buneary.

The gym was probably the busiest it got every season, what with all kinds of new customers embarking on their fitness journeys in preparation for new year’s resolutions. Andres didn’t mind it, finding it easier and easier to get clients hooked on his free trial classes. The only thing really limiting his hours as a personal trainer was time. He manned the front desk, while his coworker was on break while adjusting a schedule of his own. Juggling class time, and sessions was a little bit tricky, and he preferred to have the most up to date written copy he could. Just in case he could find someone to pay him before they decided against it.

As he scribbled down some names and times, he noted immediately when a new customer walked in. They were unfamiliar to him, and he was pretty sure they dind’t have a customer like this. Well, maybe his coworker knew them. But Andres was at the gym at weird enough hours that he was confident they were new. Well, whatever. He flashed the man a broad grin before waving from his chair. “Welcome! Are you a returning guest?” he asked before introducing himself. “I’m Andres, one of the personal trainers at this gym. Let me know if you have any questions, ok?”

Andres isn’t put off by her reactions. She’s not angry or aggressive enough for him to back off just yet. If things didn’t work out here though. He could always try talking to one of the visitors for a bit. “Ah, but you’ve only just started talking to me. Surely, you have a bit more endurance than that?” he said with a laugh before nodding curtly at the visitor she attended. He didn’t walk away from her; merely stood there waiting for her to be done before continuing. [break][break]

“I did, bonita. Everyone’s busy and said you’d probably need my help the most.” He lied with a small shrug. He sipped on his own hot cocoa and made idly chatter with the guests as they walked by him. “What’s your name? I’m Andres.” He added, introducing himself with the usual cheery grin.

Chuchi was quick to turn back to Finnley, dutifully shoving her nose into the palm with the bandana as she adjusted to the new scent before going back to tracking a lead on the ground. “Well, that’s not too bad. I’m sure we’ll find it. Sky’s clear so we don’t have to worry about the scent fading too badly.” He said as Chuchi began walking around trying to home in on the Electrike.

The Eevee didn’t need anymore motivation that that. The minute she tracked the electric types scent she howled, before looking at both trainers and then taking off in the direction her nose led her. “Alright, stay with me kid.” Andres said as he sprinted after his partner. The normal type barked every so often so if she wasn’t seen, she was at least easily heard while she sought after the Electrike. The trail took her in wobbling circles it felt like before finally settling on a fallen log in a small clearing. She barked excitedly; confident her quarry was here. Andres slowed to a halt before kneeling down to pet the Eevee. “Good job girl, thanks for the help.” He said before the Eevee looked up at Finnley with big, all-seeing eyes. It was time for the treat.

Melody's New Years Fiesta!

Andres nodded at Melody, trying not to linger too long as other guests came to greet their gracious hostess. She seemed happy enough, completely different to the Melody at the Soiree. Then again, it’d been some months since he’d seen her and perhaps, she’d just gotten over it. But…he still had a sense of unease about it all. Nightmares or memory, either way it sort of bugged him. He’s not exactly sure who most of these people are, seeing vaguely that they just know Melody. Until a very abrupt, very loud entrance of one legendary dragon. He recognized it quickly enough, well aware of the legends of the region he was from but that’s not what captures his attention. [break][break]

Hazel eyes lock onto a small pinkette and he’s immediately grinning. His movement towards the bar halted as he spun around to go back and offer the woman in turn a warm greeting. “Lukitaaa!” he called out, side stepping the more important women like dahlia goode , Katherine Fairburne , and skyler dross . He kissed both her cheeks in friendly greeting before going in for a hug. A hand easily sliding down to give her peach a quick squeeze. “I didn’t know you knew Melody. Good to see though.” He said with a laugh, acting as naturally as Andres did. Long gone were any traces of awkward sideyeing or nervous hiding. [break][break]

He realized he’d interrupted an introduction and swiftly turned back to the ladies. “Bellezas! I’m sorry to barge in.” the blonde began turning to the women around his friend. “A pleasure to meet each and every one of you. I am Andres, and you must all be the women of my dreams.” He said with another grin and a wink. Anyone else would’ve burned away into ash for that one. Not Andres, who was busy running off the excitement of meeting up with a friend to notice the cheese he’d just spewed.

thread summary: Thanks to a wonderful mishap, snow has coated the grounds neat route 119 and as such all sorts of people have gathered to enjoy in the rare snow but making snowboys and having snowballs fights.
why is it important?:

Ever since the events of chance meetings , Andres has been ghosting luka chêne for no good reason other than his own inability to face the consequences of his own actions. Up until that point, he had been on friendly terms with her, teasing and assisting her the little bit he saw her. And while she was pretty, he had decided he wouldn't cross that line with her. Until he did. Afraid she might get too close for comfort, he made her breakfast in bed and then never contacted her since. It's been months, and he still hadn't worked up the nerve to speak to her...until accidentally finding her here. He spent the entire thread running away and hiding from her only to get his ass beat by illeana reyes in a brilliant show of Karma. All this is enough to make Andres reflect a little on his actions, but not enough to make him confront Luka to apologize.
