The garden was overgrown with weeds, and there were foot prints of a Pokemon leading to a destroyed GREPA tree. Summer couldn't blame it all entirely on work. There was time and dedication that went into taking care of plants.[break][break]

"Maybe I'm not the most cut out for work like this."[break][break]

But, regardless, she crouched down and began to dig, pulling out the weeds and tossing them to the side. She took the poor GREPA tree and put it aside to, to replant it with something else. And once she was finished, the garden looked brand new. Almost as if no one had ever touched it.[break][break]

"It's a new year. Let's start with a fresh beginning." Beside her, her ZOROARK gave a small grunt of agreement.

Mars agreed, and Summer couldn't have been more thrilled about anything in the world. To her, making a pizza was like she had just gotten engaged or hit some huge milestone with her company. She threw her arms up in the air, nearly dropping the blunt between her fingers on the floor.[break][break]

She gladly took his hands, standing up and almost pulling him back down with her. But once she had her land legs back, Summer giggled as she leaned over his shoulder.[break][break]

There was always some way that Martín del Mar managed to bring a smile to her face. He would always find a way to bring some sort of positivity back, and he did so by bringing up her success in her company. Taking a moment to stare at her drink, she considered it before speaking again.[break][break]

"You're right. I achieved a goal this year. I feel like I've made Prescott Industries reach out further than it had with my father. And, in a way, I feel like I've freed myself and my brother. But..." Summer sighed before sipping her drink.[break][break]

The terrified man's expression was quick to ease Summer's nerves, allowing her shoulders to relax as he rushed to grab the bowl of candy for Eris. And when she was allowed to pick anything she wanted, she was more than pleased. The smile on her face was telltale enough.[break][break]

She waited as Eris picked her fill, raising her eyebrows as she told her to pick some chocolate as well. "Oh, my dear, I really don't need any. This is all for you, after all."[break][break]

Summer's up and coming as the CEO was groundbreaking news in the business world after she had announced the "passing" of her dear father. "My father had supporters. Many of them weren't pleased when I took over. They believed I'm too young or too naive. But they fail to remember that he was the one who kept me in training about the company and did many of his tasks for him. I'm more equipped for this position than any of them.[break][break]

Summer truly didn't quite remember every detail about how they entered BARNABY FINCH's penthouse and went to the kitchen. Everything was sort of vague and foggy in her mind, but it sounded like a great idea. She just made sure that she could see the back of Martín del Mar, so she didn't get lost or wander.[break][break]

It had begun as a drinking and smoking session with Mars back at one of their other places. Several drinks down the hatch, a blunt between her fingers, and the sound of food was a fucking fantastic idea.[break][break]

"Mmm... I'm hungry. Are you? I could eat, like... I don't know... that whole painting right there," Summer had said, waving her hand blindly in the direction of a wall.[break][break]
