It was because it’s him, and because truly, she’s happy that he’s here with her even if he’s not being all that helpful. It’s nice, and the kind of thing she should get used to, but should she really be thinking things like those?

Instead of dwelling on all of that, she simply turns her attention to getting changed, this time going with one of her own choices – a white backless dress, the flowers tattoed on her back being as if centerpiece when she ties her hair up.

”Okay, I think I only have it in me to try a couple more.”

She chuckles as she steps out, smiling at him just as before.

A smirk, and she steps closer to him, getting on the very tips of her toes to give him a gentle and quick peck on the cheek – as if it's nothing. As if it doesn't mean anything. But, doesn't it?

”You’re sweet. I’ll try on a couple more and then decide, be right back.”

Just like that, she goes back to the fitting room, giving him a smile.

Ogling can lead to getting hit on by randoms, which in Lia’s opinion, definitely gets annoying.

It’s not that she’s embarrassed by what she’s wearing, but more so that that’s the way he makes her react...

Her words are also no more than a whisper, playfulness as clear in her tone as it is in her smile. Since, after all, she’s all too aware that he’s probably getting more than a few ideas.

Store employees will always gossip, and in a way, Lia finds it almost funny to wonder about what they might think when seeing her and Lance dress shopping together. Do they think they’re a couple? Probably. Likely so. What stranger wouldn’t assume that when they act the way they act?

It’s a cute thought to have while getting changed into the much tighter black dress, making sure every piece is in the right place before stepping out again – not like there’s much to put in place to begin with, though.

When she walks out of the fitting room, she just looks at Lance without saying a word, a slight smirk tugging at her lips.

Even if compliments are to be expected in this sort of situation, it still makes her smile, a gentle and slight blush reaching her cheeks because she’s suddenly all too aware of just how closely he has to look at her for this. There’s a smirk at her lips when calling back to him, but this is quickly followed by a sigh once actually stepping into the fitting room. The dresses are hang up, and she finally gives herself a chance to properly look at his choices, considering her options before deciding to first go with one she picked herself.

Still, when she steps out, what she’s wearing is a slip dress of a light green satin. It’s simple, but formal enough. Light, as if it falls right onto her – her all too petite figure being accentuated by it.

With a hum, Lia looks at herself in the mirror, holding her hair up to see what it would look like if she styled it like that.
