He takes his tankard, slurping up the thick foam and taking a good few gulps before pulling back to look at the jousting field and then back at his date. "Close enough." he said as he licked the foam off his lips.

"You're not exactly a cowboy but...I think I can bend the rules a little if you get on a horse." he added. "I forgot...if I told you but it's actually my first time at a Ren Faire." he added with a snort. Maybe that was obvious by the lack of face make up or the way he simply kept watching everything, but he wanted to tell them anyway. It's already fun, even without knowing what happy surprise lay at the end of today.

He lets out a laugh at the greeting. What was it that amigo message had said? "We fought on the same battlefield and you can't call me by name?"

It'd been a while since he'd worked with them. Capable enough a ranger, and a damn good scout. Game recognized game after all. "Glad to see you're doing well." he added, looking over the ranger any bare skin immediately paused on to check for bruises or lingering scars from Postdormitorium.

He nodded as they spoke up again, keeping quiet. He was just here to help after all. Far be it for him to take the reigns from someone he only knew as capable. He watched, smiling as they pause and then looking up at their partner. He's quick to give the Steelix a wave before looking back at his own partner.

"Take care to avoid soaking our colleagues." he said to the octopus as a she paused her jet stream of water to acknowledge him, before going back to blasting the back of the first Wailord. The Wailord weakly tried to lift its tail fin, pokemon and trainer keeping clear of the massive appendance before Streenstrup the Octillery moved to the next gigantic beached whale.

"Ain't that fitting for Hoenn?" he asked, looking up from his drink after a swig of it. He'd be lying if he said he remembered anything in that amigo profile of his, too taken with a couple of his photos to really understand what he was reading.

He's attractive in the sense Paxton doesn't have to be careful. He doesn't treat Raph like glass, because the man doesn't need it. Unlike a few other softer hook ups on that app, Paxton doesn't reel anything about himself in. All edges, no dulling.
