the medic probably (definitely) doesn't deserve being shouldered past but it only takes niko a quick moment before he's by her side. any other rocket and he wouldn't even be here right now. but she's not just any other rocket, is she?[break][break]

despite the jest in his voice, he wears concern on his expression as he looks at her.[break][break]

his conveniently placed ditto crawls off his back, plopping to the floor ungraciously. it takes a moment to understand the anatomy of a mightyena before finally TRANSFORMING into one. almost perfect if not for the dumb face.[break][break]

this isn't ideal in the slightest, but they don't have much options. the usual hesitance that comes from being on the sub is lost at the moment, overpowered by genuine care and concern.[break][break]

it only seems fair. plus, the idea of him cooking for her does make him feel a bit warm. it's an odd feeling, that.

they seem to be heading in a particular direction. his gaze follows, tracking towards the right, and though a plan comes to mind, he hands the binoculars back to her.[break][break]

"what's your plan here, nina?"

"you mean the one i was forced into or risk losing everything?"

but that's just rocket's modus operandi, isn't it? aggressive expansion and control. what can a local gang in verdanturf do but concede?
